We had a pleasant stay overall, with several positives worth highlighting. The apartment was clean and tidy on arrival, with comfortable duvets and well-chosen fixtures and fittings. The washer/dryer was a real bonus, and the television was excellent. The flat is also in a fantastic location – central, convenient, and ideal for exploring the area.
The downstairs front door was left unlocked, and there was an unpleasant smell (possibly urine) in the lobby or near the front door.
The kitchen could use more utensils and mugs – not quite enough for a full group.
More towels per person would be appreciated, along with at least two washing pods to get started.
The main bedroom, which faces the street, lacks privacy – a privacy film on the windows might help.
Blinds were a little awkward to use.
Shower gel was not provided, and the quality of the pillows could be improved.
Everyone in our group reported insect bites from the beds.
The fire doors are very heavy, and the doorstops were awkward to manage.
Only a couple of loo rolls were provided – a few more would have been helpful.
The dishwasher needed salt from day one, which wasn't supplied.
A fault with the alarm had it beeping loudly all night - remote notification to the building manager to reset it would be good. I lost a full night's sleep as a result.
