We had some issues with some equipment and they responded very promptly and addressed what we needed. Their maintenance team is wonderful! Will definitely stay here in the future!

When opening the pool for use there were glow sticks in the bottom I’m guessing from previous renter and hair so we had to clean them out before use. The only give five pool towels so if you have a large group that isn’t adequate. Wifi did go in and out during our stay so we couldn’t enjoy watching tv of movies in the theater much at all. Also toilet paper only lasted a day so be sure to take more. We had a group of twelve so was not even at full occupancy. Besides that it was a relaxing time with plenty of sleeping space.

I have stayed in many over the years. i love the cost during my kids spring break from school, as well as the pool. The bedroom upstairs was a huge deal that gave me the opportunity to have all my kids in the same room engaging with each other. love love love this place.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pool: We couldn’t use the pool during our stay as it remained cold throughout. One of the main reasons we chose this property, despite it exceeding our budget, was the advertised heated pool—which wasn’t functional. After I reported the issue, a maintenance person arrived but left without providing any update. Later, I received a message that a follow-up maintenance visit was scheduled for the next day at 3 PM, but we weren’t at the cabin during that time. I was then informed that the issue had been fixed and the pool temperature had reached 80°F. Excited to finally use the pool, we returned early to the cabin, only to be disappointed once again—the pool was still cold.Kitchen Tap: The kitchen sink spray was broken, making it difficult to use. We had to manage with it throughout our stay.Utensils: The kitchen lacked sufficient oven-safe utensils, which made cooking for our group of four families quite challenging. Additionally, there was no chopping board or scrub for washing utensils, adding to our inconvenience.Dishwasher: The dishwasher needed servicing as it wasn’t effectively cleaning the dishes and left them dirty.Cold Bedroom: One of the first-floor bedrooms, which didn’t have an attached bathroom, was extremely cold. Despite setting the thermostat to 75°F, the room remained uncomfortably chilly. Meanwhile, since we kept the thermostat at 75°F throughout the day, the other two bedrooms became excessively hot.We totally disappointed with entire stay and this was the first time facing these many challenges during our vacation

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It started with a text that our cabin WOULD NOT be ready at check-in time - a text that I received when I was an hour away. So - we delayed our arrival and AFTER we got there, the cleaning crew came back - saying they forgot to mop the floors. So - the start of our vacation was spent with strangers and mops. THEN - first night, my grand-daughter went to get in bed - and the sheets were covered in dirt, leaves and hair. The next morning, when we went to wash the bed items, we found that the washer also had leaves and dirt in it. Same with the drier. There were cigarette butts in the filter. None of us smoke. The kitchen towels were clean - but quite stained. The shelves in the freezer were all broken, there was mold on the shower curtains, the handle on one of the bathroom sinks was broken and the trash cans were absolutely filthy. Customer service was OK - if not a little overbearing with all the texts. Difficult to reply when I'm driving, but they insist on a response. Beautiful location, beautiful cabin - but the cleaning crew simply spoiled the whole thing for us. Paying a premium price for a cabin and getting this kind of accommodations is just unacceptable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: Nice cabin with great amenities. A lot of space and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway with privacy. Very large room upstairs that would hold about 10 people not including floor space. Cons: The basic structure (floors, tables, bathrooms, etc)of the cabin was very clean. However, the majority of the dishes had to be washed because it seems like they were just put away dirty. This included plates, pots, glasses, and silverware. Like some had large pieces of food in it, so it could not have been a mistake and just overlooked. The bed's comforter was a little old and you could tell it hadn't been washed. And lastly, there were wasps upstairs bedroom so we picked up wasp spray when we went out to the grocery store. Luckily, no one was sleeping in the bedroom so we just sprayed them and closed the room off. On the other hand, customer server was really nice and prompt. We called in for a locked bathroom door upstairs and a smoke detector that was low on battery and keep beeping and they sent a maintenance guy right out. This is about our 5th time vacationing with Elk Springs and never before had an issue with cleanliness. I therefore attribute this issue to a lacking cleaning crew for this cabin and really hope things are not going down for Elk Springs and I need to find another property. Nevertheless, if they give this cabin a good cleaning, Yes, I would recommend it.

The theater was not working the first night. The back porch didn't have any working lights. I have been to TN a few times but ever stayed with ELK SPRING AND I EVER WILL AGAIN. 800+ a night and this is what I got.

What wasn’t great is spending half our first night waiting outside the cabin as our 3pm check in turned into a 630pm check in. Had 11 people from 3 states coordinated to arrive at check in time only to be told it wasn’t ready. And by wasn’t ready I mean the housekeepers didn’t even show up until 4...also, bring garbage bags, soap, detergent and toilet paper as this place is supposed to sleep 17 but they only give you enough supplies for about a day, and we only had 11 people...management refused to provide additional supplies or provide a credit for late check in. You are literally at their mercy for check in. But again, the cabin is awesome and kids had a blast

Great to have pool indoors. 30 mins from Gatlinburg.One room not fully cleaned when we arrived, and pool had a few bugs. Also no toilet paper in some bathrooms, so being extra just in case. TVs were missing from some of the rooms, which we didn't think much about. After we left, were told we needed to pay for missing TVs which were apparently there prior to arrival. That of course was shocking. Anyway we informed them that there were no TVs to begin with, and they did not charge us, thankfully. Next time will take pics and videos of a place right after entering.

When we arrived the indoor pool was cloudy which maintenance told us they were working on. We were unable to use it our first day but it was cleared up by the next evening. Management reimbursed me money for that first day. We enjoyed the size of the cabin for 12 of us. Was disappointed that the nearest grocery store was 20 minutes from us since it was mentioned that we were only 8 minutes from Food City which is by Gatlinburg. The cabins that were closer to Gatlinburg were more expensive. When looking for a cabin a person needs to take that in mind if you want to be closer to the activities in the Smokey Mountains. The hot tub jets were not working on one side but we still enjoyed using it. I think maintenance needs to be a little more thorough when inspecting things before somebody checks in. Overall the family was satisfied staying here and we had a good time together.
