This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a good time swimming in the pool and enjoying the hot tub. The theater room was a nice addition but we rarely used it. The cleanliness wasn’t what we expect from a resort type cabin. The bedrooms may accommodate 18 but the bathrooms do not in our opinion. Both bunk rooms (12 people) have to share bathrooms with other 6 by entering their bedrooms or thru kitchen. There isn’t enough storage in the bathrooms or bedrooms to set out toiletries or set linens anywhere but on toilet seats. Suggest these amenities and vanities be updated.

Thought we had a problem with the toilet upon arrival. I text the rental place and they were out the next morning and fixed it with no problem. They were very friendly and making the reservations were very simple. I would like to go back with a few couple for a weekend couples' getaway. Elk Springs Resort I will be back!!!!!!

The pool was freezing they said maintenance replaced the heart the pool stayed the same temperature the entire stay we didn’t get to swim because it was too cold that was the point of staying there was the private HEATED pool it was dirty there was grease all over the cupboards there were bugs everywhere in there dust built up under the counters the floor was broken the chairs were broken there were staples on the floor it was not at all what I expected for my first time visiting tennessee

It was nice, however a bit of a drive to get to attractions outside of the park. The cabin was spacious with nice furnishings. The kitchen was a bit small for the number of guest to accommodate. Cleaning on 3rd level was lacking with several big carcasses and a vit of dust. The cabin is a gem, just needed to have better attebtion tondetail on the cleaning. The management team was great and very responsive.

Reviewer Comments: My family and I were put in this rental the day before check-in because our original cabin was discovered to have a bug infestation that they could not take care of prior to our arrival. When Elk Springs called to tell me this they said they had another cabin that was comparable to the cabin we initially rented. Comparable means similar or as good as. It was not. Our original cabin had 6 rooms and 6 bathrooms. This cabin only had 5 bedrooms and 3 & a half baths. Two of the bathrooms were in rooms on the second level. While the 3rd was on the main level with entrances from one bedroom and the other from the kitchen. That was difficult to deal with when you have 14 people. The washer and dryer was all in that main level bathroom. The half bath was down where the pool was. One of the rooms was all the way at the top and really was suppose to be just a loft area where you can look out into the woods. They put a bunkbed up there. None of the beds were comfortable. On top of that, on our 6 hour ride to the cabin I received a text saying that check-in time had to be pushed back from 3 to 5 which was okay because we had a little time left before we got there. But when we arrived at 5 the cleaning crew was still there and we had to wait an additional 45 minutes for them to finish. The cabin was also further from a lot of places we had planned to visit when we were planning to stay at the other cabin. We weren’t given any extra accommodations for the disruption in our trip. We only got some money back because the second cabin was cheaper than the original. We were only given two options: cancel our trip and get a full refund or go with the other cabin. We had to deal with the other cabin because it was less than 12 hours until we were planning to get on the road. There was no effort to try to properly accommodate us. Our trip wasn’t what we had expected and hoped it to be.

The kitchen stove only had one working element, only one small skillet and the other pots and pans were paper thin and cheap. The bed pillows smelled badly, all bedding was worn out and nasty dirty. The dishwasher door was broken. The pool tile was broken in many places and taped with duct tape. The windows were so dirty that it was impossible to even see out. We will never return.

The cabin itself is great, there’s lots of space, my family had room to move around and enjoy themselves. Management was very professional and handle any of our concerns in a timely fashion. The only 2 things that I didn’t like was 1 the location, there was no real view, and everything was like 45 minutes away. Also it did take us an extra 2 hours before we could get inside of our cabin, said because of house keeping.. however there was dust and spider webs on a lot of stuff.

I uploaded the video and photo to a link they sent me and I’ve yet to hear anything back. Overall I enjoyed my trip we went to Gatlinburg which was a 36 minute drive and stayed during the day and evening. The cleaning staff left trash in the bathroom downstairs from a prior guest and also the dirty sponges they used to clean. I didn’t call about that because those were minor. The hot tub was nice the pool was freezing although the thermostat said 80 that water was nowhere near lukewarm. It was my birthday I was just trying to enjoy myself didn’t complain about anything but the bed bugs and jacuzzi/pool. The cabin can sleep quite a few people but there is only one table so playing games wasn’t easy to do.

Reviewer Comments: This was our family first time doing a cabin trip and I was not impressed with indoor pool beauty, starting with the FOR SALE sign when you enter the driveway. The check in process was not a smooth as they made it sound , took forever to get a code sent to us to even get in and also to have access to the pool , very bad communication with the owner/manager . The property was not properly cleaned as food/ food residue was left all in the microwave and refrigerator. The sheets were not clean and the carpet was disgusting. I highly recommend installing some hard wood floors, more sanitary. The cabin is very outdated needs a lot of renovations starting with the light fixtures that are dated back to 1908. I honestly would not recommend this cabin to anyone. As far as activities for the kids and family we were very accessible to Gatlinburg area, lots to explore in that town. Another thing please communicate with your guests when random persons show up asking to clean your pool the day before your about to leave, very sketchy. FYI.

After driving 10 and half hours we had to find something to do. Only 4 of the 8 lights in the kitchen worked. The refrigerator had broken shelves and you could adjust the heat on the indoor pool. The carpet was dirty and it was stains on the wall. The scenery was nice. We still had a great time.

Management wanted to make things right but you can't correct holes in the couch, dirt along edges of carpeting, old shower curtains that have stains, etc. The cabin needs to be emptied out and have a deep massive cleaning including curtains being washed and the yard cleaned up. Huge disappointment for the price that is charged.

The cabin had 3 jacuzzi tubs which didn’t work and the pool isn’t heated as listed either!!! I Paid 1700 dollars and was only refunded 200 dollars and no apology was given nor was I contacted by management to follow up I was told they didn’t have a manager on duty our entire stay!!!! I WONT BE RENTING HERE EVER AGAIN!!!

Housekeeping had to come and fix several issues, which took a few hours. That took away our ability to be comfortable because we could sit anywhere or even start to unpack our stuff until the cabin was cleaned properly. Also, it was freezing the whole 3 days we stayed. It's like the thermostat was broken or something. Other than that, the cabin and the amenities inside were great!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So this particular cabin had many many issues. The pool was cold the entire stay and was called about multiple times. None of us could swim. Upon arrival the grounds were dirty. All bed linen was dirty and had to be returned for cleaning. The toaster didn’t work properly. The cabin itself was not clean. The previous renters were smokers and it appeared that’s what the second and top floor were used for. The furniture needs secured as well as it is dangerous if their are small children in your party. The downstairs bedroom had jagged edges on the broken bed post which could have hurt my grandchildren. The jacuzzis needed serviced a few times why were there. The theater was not great either. The screen had to be readjusted and plan on no surround sound, not the experience for a theater room. The cabin is severely outdated and the air hockey table should absolutely be removed and not used in this house as it is unfixable. The positive in this was that I was in constant contact with the office and they tried so hard to make it right. Would I stay here again maybe but doubtful and I definitely would never choose this particular cabin. (Indoor pool beauty) for the amount of problems we had it was severely overpriced. Again the office worked with me to make things right. Therefore the stay was unenjoyable but I am thankful to the office staff for trying to correct the issues at hand. This cabin needs an overhaul for sure.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was all about the customer service! Not good at all. Due to ice and snow electricity at our reserved cabin was out. We understood and got a hotel for two nights. There was Never any personal contact with Elk Springs. They sent a simple text to inform us and that we couldn’t check in. We were 7 hours from home! I never got to speak to anyone. The 3rd day we were to check in I had reservations for a show, a family of 13 and we wanted to check in early. I was willing to pay and knew no one else had been in our cabin because there was no electricity on previous days. All my text kept saying was we had to wait till 3:00 pm. To check in. That didn’t make sense to me. I pleaded over text because they wouldn’t call me back. At 3:00 we were sitting outside our cabin. No one would give us our code to get in. Long story one from Elk was communicating with housekeeping! Our cabin wasn’t cleaned and when we got into cabin there was no heat. It was obvious the cabin never was cleaned after the last renters checked out. We paid over $6,000 for 4 nights...you’d think the customer service would have been much better than this! I still have never talked to anyone. My adult daughter got through but she couldn’t really do much. What a disappointment for Elk Springs. I was reimbursed for the two nights but I can think of many ways Elk Springs could have gone the extra mile- seems their communication with housekeeping and clients needs much improvement. This is our 4th year renting from Elk Springs. Guess it’s time to move on to another company. Wonder if the owners of the cabins knew this happened or would like this kind of experience.

Reviewer Comments: The rental is advertised as a non-smoking cabin, but the entire place wreaked of cigarette smoke, especially one of the Kings rooms on the second floor. The red carpet is disgusting. There was dried feces or vomit on the wall and floor in the pool bathroom, garbage on the ground surrounding cabin outside. Theater room was not working upon arrival. First maintenance man who came was nice, but wasn't wearing a mask. A second one came back the next day to fix it, he also was nice, but no mask. Pool had cigarette buds floating in it, which was odd because we weren't allowed to use the pool for three hours after checking in because they had just cleaned it; you missed the floating cigarette buds. Other small things: windows are filthy and have a film of dirt on the outside of them, all the decks need to be sprayed down, TV in one of the bedrooms didn't work. Trip was good because of the company. Don't expect luxury when renting this cabin.

Reviewer Comments: At first glance the property was ok. when we moved the couch because the remote fell behind, roaches came from behind. The grill was not cleaned. They give you a "starter pack" which suppose to include tissue for every bathroom. it was not tissue in every room. The air hockey table was broke so you couldnt use it. It was no notice given about the hockey table. The theater room could only use the cable which barely had channels. There was no HDMI cord to hookup anything else to the theater. The room on the top floor (attic) was extremely hot and no air was coming out the vent. so the room couldnt be used because of that.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: No major complaints. There was some trash outside of the cabin and a couple of holes in the air hockey table, but everything else was great.
