We really enjoyed our stay at Beachwalk on Jekyll Island. The place was comfy, very clean, and the kitchen was well equipped with utensils and cooking materials. Enjoyed the nightlights in the bathrooms as well. This was our first stay in a VRBO property and we were disappointed that the kitchen did not supply such basic things as dishtowels and cleaner so that we could clean the sink, counters, etc. The sunroom was great as a place to stash beach chairs, etc. but it was musty smelling so not that usable in the summer weather. It was great to have a washer and dryer but some laundry detergent would have been helpful. Also, the closest beach access from our place had a lot of stairs and a hole in the sand at the bottom which made it tricky for the senior in our group, so we always went up the street near the Holiday Inn to access the beach, especially at high tide. We loved all the bike paths as well. Jekyll Island was amazing, not super crowded and we will definitely come back and stay here again.

It was a last minute booking and we were so thankful that this house was available. We had stayed at this house a couple years ago, and felt at home. House is clean and well organized. Kitchen has everything you need to cook and bake. Nice big refrigerator with ice and water on the door. Big sunroom with compfortable seating and big table for your group to gather around to eat or play games. We will be back!

The houses here are always homey and very clean. I enjoyed this stay very much! So close to the beach and the other houses our family rented. The only thing wrong with one of the rooms was the master bedroom door wouldn’t close all the way and we had our baby in that room so it was slightly inconvenient. I’m sure the realtors would’ve come to fix it but we just put a shoe behind the door and the hallway door was closed so no sound would interfere. A wonderful place to stay! Worth the money every time :)
