Just 3 houses from the Beach. Newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 baths . Open living/dining/kitchen. Always something to do: golf, biking, relax on 1 of 2 patios or 2 screened porches (additional dining space on rear porch ), outdoor shower. 3 Smart TVs-no cable package, WD, MW, DW, DVD, WIFI/DSL, Charcoal Grill. Beds: 1 King, 2 Queen, 1 Set of Twin Bunk Beds, Twin w/ Trundle. Accommodates 10. NO PETS, NO SMOKING.
Bliss Your Heart Cottage, was the 3rd home built in the First Planned Community on Jekyll Island. It is located "Under the Oaks". Original architectural features remain, including raised beam ceilings, and pineboard ; brick walls . It is updated and styled in keeping with the charm and natural ambiance of Jekyll Island.

We really loved our stay at this house on Jekyll Island.The location is perfect — practically on the beach. One of our favorite moments was waking up just before sunrise, walking out to the beach, and watching the incredible sunrise over the ocean. So peaceful and beautiful.We also loved seeing deers every day, both mornings and evenings, right near the house. It made the whole experience feel even more special.The house is very close to Driftwood Beach and the Historic District, so exploring the island was easy and convenient.Another unique detail: this house once belonged to Tally Fish, a historian and writer who helped preserve the history of the Historic District, especially Indian Mound Cottage. She even wrote a book about it. The house truly feels like a place with its own history and soul.Very cozy, welcoming, and full of character — we’ll remember our stay here very warmly.

Overall we had a good experience. It could use updated pots and pans. Some decent prep and carving knives. The stove works but an update is needed. We found it to be very quiet and peaceful. The furniture was comfortable and the beds were good. Pillows need replacing.

Other than the wind blasting all weekend (not the house's fault) and the master bath being as small as a RV bath, the house is kid/family friendly. Very relaxing.
