Welcome to The Great Escape!
Real Escapes Properties is proud to offer this spacious 11-room Cape Cod style home with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and located on a private cul-de-sac in Harrison Pointe Subdivision. Offering a peaceful haven, the home invites its guests to choose the privacy of a cozy library, to retreat to the game room to enjoy foosball, a game of darts, a Netflix movie on the large screen HDTV, or to relax by the downstairs fireplace.
A wrap-around front porch and open back deck entice guests to enjoy the natural surroundings. The cottage style décor and beach theme beg occupants to live out the game room sign 'Livin' on Island Time.' With an occupancy of up to 10 guests, this home truly lives up to its name, The Great Escape.
The kitchen is well equipped, with plenty of room for preparing memorable dinners. There is more than enough seating provided - you can have your new beach buddies join you for dinner. All of the bedrooms feature luxurious linens and are splendidly decorated. The location is walking/biking distance to popular island restaurants such as Halyards, Tramici's and Certified Burgers and popular shopping boutiques in the Sea Island shopping complex (Gentleman's Outfitters, SOMA, Talbots and G.J. Ford Booksellers). There are also wonderful biking trails in the area!
The Great Escape, located at 102 Vann Lane (mid-Island location), is sure to be your family's St. Simons Island rental choice!

Parking is available for 3 vehicles. Please do not turn around in the neighbor's drive. Minimum age to rent is 25. This applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families.
What to Expect in your Unit:
Linens (Bath towels and bed sheets) are provided along with a Starting Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towels and Trash Bags. Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.

My stay at 102 Vann Lane was, overall, very nice. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. I also enjoyed the amenities (i.e. nice couch, t.v., dvd, Netflix, etc). The only complaint was the fridge door failed to stay closed about 50% of the time, which affected my food. For some reason the sealer on the door doesn't work very well and should be replaced. Otherwise, the house and stay were nice!
