Come stay on our farmstead! Conveniently located between Birmingham and Huntsville, this stay includes 15 acres of land to roam, plenty of animals to visit with, plants to enjoy during growing season and a great view of the stars on a clear night. Our quiet property is located within a few miles of several popular attractions including Riverside Fly Shop, Stony Lonesome OHV Park, Smith Lake Dam and Dodge City MX. Only 15 minutes from I-65. We look forward to having you stay!
Our newly renovated space is your next oasis! Our home features a king size bed in the primary suite as well as a deep soaking tub and shower in the primary bath. Our second bedroom has a twin bunk bed set. Our kitchen comes stocked with all of the essentials for preparing a meal and includes an array of spices and seasonings as well as oil.
The space has free Wifi and smart TVs in each room for our guests as well as an array of board games available. Login is required for any smart TV use. A record player is available to use in the living room stocked with some of our personal favorite vinyls and more crowd pleasers. We encourage everyone to treat themselves to our carefully curated coffee and tea bar in the kitchen. While you’re treating yourself, take a scoop of our bath salts to unwind from your day.
Guests are immersed in our personal farm experience. The property is in our backyard so expect to see us outside occasionally. The backyard of the home is private and we encourage guests to embrace the green field and serene pasture behind the home if privacy is what you’re looking for.
Our property features several different fenced pastures all accessible to guests available upon request. Our property is home to a variety of animals including chickens, guineas, pigs and goats. Our mother/son duo of goats, Dow and Henry, love snacks from guests. We have a group of the sweetest pigs you would ever meet, according to us anyways. Our pigs - Milk, Wilbur, Dangles and Scrangles will happily take all the back scratches if you choose to visit with them. We also have a flock of guinea fowl. They are all identical in color and size except for our one gem, Magnolia. She’s the loudest of them all. Lastly, our chicken math caught up to us and we now currently home around 50+ laying hens. Each guest that books with us will receive one dozen of our sweet ladies eggs during laying season. Their eggs range in color from dark golden brown, light cream, baby blue and many colors in between.
