At Sleepy Hollow Cottage you will enjoy the beautiful water and fantastic view of Smith Lake at our 3 bedroom 2 bath brick house.
Relax in the sunroom or on the spacious deck as you view beautiful Smith Lake. Or, take the easy, short walk on gently sloping lot to the double slip boat house with large swim/sun deck -great place for the children to swim and adults to sit and/or soak up the sun or fish. Only a little over one mile by water from Duncan Bridge. Located in a quiet slough just a short distance from the main body with deep water. Slough is popular with fishermen.
Two bedrooms have queen beds and the third bedroom has bunk beds. There is a sofa bed in the sunroom and convertable futon bed in the living room with plenty of room for additional blow up beds if desired.
Large kitchen/dining room combination has large table that easily seats 10 and another table in sunroom with seating for 4. Fully equipped kitchen for preparing those special vacation meals for your family.
Lengthy paved driveway offers plenty of level area for parking for cars and boat trailors and with covered parking for 2 vehicles.

We had a great stay here — the house fit 7-8 people comfortably. We chose this house because of the dining space for Thanksgiving and the amount of seating in the living room and it was great! The beds were all comfortable, however, we did not sleep on the pull out couches because the mattresses were thin, but we did sleep just on couches and they were very comfortable. Everything was clean and they had most of the kitchen items we needed. We did run low of toilet paper, so just know there are only 4 rolls provided and plan accordingly. The lake access was easy to get to (if you can handle steps) and the front yard/driveway had plenty of room to play safely away from the water. The host was also very responsive to messages and checkout instructions were very clear. Overall we had a good stay and we’ve talked about coming back in the future!

The location of this property is wonderful! The neighborhood is very quiet - there is construction happening next door but it wasn’t disturbing. The water is deep and clean. The lot makes it easy to access the water.
This property is very old and has not been kept up very well. There were multiple things in the house that just needed to be fixed. All of the sinks need the regulator replaced, water would go everywhere. The microwave was rusted on the inside. There was a light out the back door that would get stuck in the door each time you opened it. The back door barely closed when it wasn’t locked. The dock had multiple rotted out boards. One area was roped off but the boards under the ladder were rotting and dangerous. The back porch was covered in roaches as soon as the sun went down.
