With the beach now larger than it's been in years, there's plenty of room to spread out, build sandcastles, splash in the waves, or simply sit and soak it all in. Whether you're an early riser catching the morning light or a night owl watching the stars reflect off the water, Lake Michigan will take your breath away every single time.

The outdoor spaces here are exceptional. Unwind on the HUGE deck with comfortable patio furniture, or sink into one of the hanging hammock chairs facing the lake. Sunbathe with your favorite drink, read a book, watch the boats go by — or gather around the fire pit in the evening and stargaze in near-total darkness. The deck is your front-row seat to some of the most spectacular sunsets in all of Michigan.

🐾 No Dogs Permitted — This is a POA rule for all renters. You may see dogs on the property owned by cottage owners, but pets are not permitted for rental guests. No exceptions. $500 fine.
🚭 Entire Property is Non-Smoking — This includes all outdoor areas. Smoke odor on patio furniture will result in a $500 damage fee. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the space fresh for all guests.
🎉 Event Policy — Large events and parties are not permitted. Daytime family gatherings are welcome. Evening parties, loud music, and excessive noise are strictly prohibited after 10 PM.
♿ Accessibility Note — There are 4 small steps near the driveway leading to the deck. Once on the deck, the entrance to the upper-level living area is fairly smooth and suitable for guests who prefer to remain on one level for their entire stay. The lower level is accessible via an interior staircase of approximately 20–30 steps.

So relaxing to be right on the lake! Swimming, kayaking, beach walks, and the sound of the waves lulling you to sleep each night. Two living areas inside plus the large decks outside means plenty of space for everyone to be together or find a spot of their own. Well-stocked and clean.

We absolutely loved our stay at Dawn and Breck’s cottage on Lake Michigan! We all had an excellent time and was able to spend quality time with family and friends!!
The night of meteor showers, northern lights, sunset and moon set was a special bonus!

There were eight adults. There was plenty of room for all. We spent the days outside on the deck and in the water. In the evenings, we sat around the table and played games. We enjoyed the fun and relaxation.
