Welcome to Nana and Baba’s Clamshack – Where Cape Cod feels like home.
A brand-new rental for 2025, The Clamshack is where Cape Cod charm meets family tradition. Tucked away in the heart of Eastham, this home isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to make memories. Once home to our beloved grandparents—who filled it with big Italian meals, summer adventures, and the kind of warmth that makes a house feel like home—this spacious 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath house is now ready to welcome new memories. It’s not extra fancy, but it’s full of heart, just like Nana and Baba would’ve wanted.
Located just 2.5 miles from Nauset Light Beach, 1 mile Sunken Meadow Bay, and 1 mile from the Cape Cod Rail Trail, it’s the perfect home base for days spent biking, clamming at Sunken Meadow, and grabbing pizza at The Barn. We're also a quick 10 minute drive from the Orleans Firebirds home field - one of the teams thqat are part of the legendary Cape Cod Baseball League.
The fully equipped kitchen (with multiple ovens!) is made for cooking up fresh seafood feasts, while the screened-in porch and outdoor shower add to the laid-back Cape experience. Central AC is located downstairs, as well as heat throughout the home. Bedrooms are great for siblings and friends, while the master and other downstairs rooms have respective king and queen beds for more tucked away privacy.
With plenty of space for families, a quiet street for bike rides, and a prime location for exploring Eastham, our home is ready to be part of your Cape Cod traditions.

A beautiful property with plenty of room for the whole family!

We loved our stay here and highly recommend this rental. Some highlights about the house: It is very large, with enough space to spread out and get some quiet time and a nice 3-season room to sit in and drink morning coffee. It is homey in a good way-- even if the listing hadn't told us, we would have known that people had lived here, rather than just minimally furnishing it for a rental, because of the well-equipped kitchen, plenty of seating, etc. The first-floor bathroom has good grab bars for use by someone with mobility challenges. (We didn't, but could have, stayed here with the member of our family who uses a wheelchair, though there are a few steps to the entrance we used.) It's in a nice neighborhood at the very north end of Eastham, maybe a 20-25 minute walk from Sunken Meadow beach. The owners were extremely nice and understanding when some of our party had to leave late because I drove off with their car key by mistake and had to drive back and return it!
