Keys were mailed to us ahead of time. Owners let us know we could check in early on our arrival date which was very helpful.Kitchen facilities were ok. We had been warned about no dishwasher. However hot weather made for a very hot kitchen even with a fan. Also no stove exhaust fan. Only AC units were in the bedrooms.Location was great for walking to and enjoying the bay side beach. Large backyard was great for kids to play.Some safety concerns:Main front door and breezeway front door very sticky. 8-year old children could not open from the inside. Might be a problem in an emergency.Tub floor has no non stick surface. There are grab bars.No doors for the upstairs bedrooms.

Our family of 5 has just returned from a lovely vacation at this well-kept property. The home was clean and spacious with plenty of rooms and beds. Window AC units were perfect for keeping the bedrooms cool for sleeping. We did not miss central AC in the main living areas as the ocean breezes (and a few fans) kept the house comfortable. The beach access is a very walkable distance (8 minutes) away, but the steep stairs leading down to the water could be challenging for some. We enjoyed exploring Rock Harbor in Orleans and biking the Nauset Bike Trail out to Coast Guard Beach. Do not miss Young's Fish Market for cold lobster rolls or Arnold's for chowder and fried clams! We had a wonderful trip. Thank you to our hosts!

Pros: clean, very nice location
Cons: bedrooms in attic uncomfortable as ceiling very low and the adults were not midgets. Also only 1 room upstairs had an AC and attic was very stuffy. Bedrooms downstairs more comfortable but small. Also,, kitchen poorly equipped for cooking. Only 1 and a half bathroom and not 2.. Outdoor furniture minimal to eat outside. At this price, place needs improvement.
