Situated on the bayside of Eastham only 0.4 miles from beautiful Cooks Brook Beach, this lovely vacation home offers the ideal location for your next family getaway. Take a short stroll down the road to beautiful sunsets on Cape Cod Bay, and enjoy the soft sand, warm water, and calm waves of Cooks Brook Beach - a great place to experience the beauty of nature. During low tide, the beach opens up, allowing you to walk out, seemingly forever, onto the exposed flats and explore the tidal pools while the kids dig some clams, collect a few shells, and play with the hermit crabs.
With new updates and furnishings in 2022, you will love the inside of this 1,752 square foot home. The front-to-back living room, with lovely heart pine floors, includes comfortable sofa and armchair seating under a flat screen smart TV mounted above the fireplace (fireplace not for guest use), a spacious dining area that opens onto an expansive brick patio with nice outdoor wicker furniture, a picnic table, fire pit, propane grill, ping pong table and outdoor shower - all within the private fenced back yard. Back inside, the bright and sunny cathedral kitchen, fully equipped with everything you need to make your favorite dishes, offers plenty of space for the family chef and includes black stone countertops, clean cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances including a gas range and dishwasher. The favorite gathering space is the tiled four season sunroom with its beamed, cathedral ceiling and walls of sliders, and the two small decks offer additional outdoor space to relax.
The home sleeps a total of eight guests in four bedrooms with two full bathrooms. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, including one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed, along with a full bath that includes a tub/shower combo. Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms separated by a full bath. One of these bedrooms includes a queen bed and the other with two twin beds, and the bathroom includes a tub/shower combo. The entire home is kept cool and comfortable during the hot summer months via mini-split A/C systems, and there is a washer and dryer in the basement in case you need to do laundry while you are here.
