About this house rental
Fredrickson’s Corner is newly renovated and oozes old school captiva cottage charm! Home is a 90 second walk to Captiva’s world famous beach (Gulf of Mexico), a 4.5 minute walk to Captiva'sVillage and across the street from the Bay. Our beach house features 3 bedrooms / 2 baths and is tastefully decorated with modern finishes and touches. With vaulted ceilings and numerous windows the sun shines bright. The master suite is large and spacious and the guest rooms offer plenty of comfort for family and guests. House is extremely kid friendly. We stock a beach towels, beach chairs and numerous beach toys and board games.

The property is beautiful. The landscape is stunning. The house is located on a very busy corner and the “short walk” to beach is on the main road. There are no sidewalks, something to be aware of if you are traveling with small children.Pool and spa is nice to have right outside the door! We took off a star because we did have to make 2 beds when we arrived as the linens were not changed and the beds were clearly slept in prior to our arrival. The other concerning thing is the passcode for the door. While convenient for check in, the code is clearly visible on the keypad and isn’t hard to figure out the combo.

The house is lovely, inside & out. The host was the most responsive of any that I have come across. She was so responsive that upon learning that the blender was broken, she purchased a new one and had it delivered the next day!Based on the location, I was expecting it to be much nosier and overrun with foot traffic than it was. The reality is that you are not even aware of the busy corner when outside at the pool! Overall this was a very relaxing place to spend 2 weeks, and I would refer this Vrbo to anyone visiting Captiva.
