The Space:

The search for your next vacation stops here! Check out this 2nd floor, ocean view studio apartment at The Palace Resort in Myrtle Beach (no need to wait for the elevator). Watch and listen to the waves on a very private balcony as if they are under your feet. This apartment is fully and warmly furnished with 1 queen-size bed, and 1 queen sleeper sofa. The layout of this rental will comfortably accommodate 4 guests. This unique layout offers ample living space for our guests. Other rentals at the resort are much smaller and do not have the updates that this unit offers! This layout features an open floor plan and doesn't feel cramped! In the Summer of 2020, brand new granite countertops were installed! Our guests will have access to the entire apartment, and the space is not shared with anyone. Guests will have their own, private entry, private balcony, and nearly 400 sq. ft of living space inside the apartment.

As of Winter 2023 the owner updated the flooring in the main living space as well as installed brand new curtains throughout! We provide all basic cookware, utensils, dishes and silver, glassware, and everything you will need to cook a full meal for the family. Unlike many rentals, this listing also features a full-size dishwasher as well as small appliances like a coffee maker and toaster. Pack light! We provide our guests with bath towels, washcloths, toiletries, bedding, and everything you will need to enjoy your stay. We will also provide basic "starter toiletries" that include toilet paper, paper towels, dish liquid, soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner. Guests will have access to basic resort cable and Wi-Fi. The Palace is a 23-story complex located on South Ocean Blvd in Myrtle Beach, SC. This resort is only 1 mile from the MYR International Airport and the Coastal Grand Mall. A brand new Walmart just opened around the corner, and there are plenty of dining options close by. Our guests love the location and proximity to the attractions, shopping, dining, theaters, mini golf, go karts, golfing, fishing, and so much more! Our guests also have access to free parking and beach access. We are confident that you are going to love this rental and the location. It is truly one-of-a-kind, and we are very excited to have you as our guest! Please keep in mind that this rental is privately owned and managed, and we have no affiliation with the resort staff, resort maintenance, or resort housekeeping. Should you have any maintenance or housekeeping needs, or have any questions, be sure to reach out to us directly so we can help!

****** Please note that affective from now 10/02 through further notice the small indoor spa is closed for renovations, but the pools are open!*********

It was nice room needs up dated and shade on the frosted class window let's to much light in at night. But It was nice. One of chairs at table scratched me pretty good on my side because it had been broken off at top. But did enjoy my stay

It was a perfect stay for myself and two daughters. Room was a bit outdated and pullout couch was uncomfortable for kids. They're young and handled it well and the positives outweighed a couch. The staff was polite, loved the outdoor pools and having the ocean in your backyard was fantastic. I don't think you can beat this for the price. The patio is very small and would be the main reason I'm going to upgrade next time, along with having two beds.

Cons: Walls were dirty and peeling paint Tops of dining room chairs broken off (kept catching my clothes on them) Couch cushions and curtains stained Water damage in front of sliding glass door (which didn't lock-1st night the maintenance man had to come and put a wedge bar so no one could get in); damage from water had caused flood boards to be loose. Light Bulb by the bed was cracked Smoke detector beeping when we arrived- maintance man came fairly quick and replaced the bulb and battery in detector but had to go buy a bar for sliding glass door so it took about an hour of our time. Floors were gross... broom in closet used to sweep the floor but they needed mopping really bad (no mop in room); feet were dirty just walking from shower to bed! Bed was under a huge window with no blinds so the room was brightly lit day and night (blinds down in picture were not there). The AC unit broke on our 5th day there. We reported it and maintance guy showed up around 5. It took him a while to fix it so we had to go out to dinner instead eating in (had planned to eat in to save money). The unit had an oven but absolutely nothing to bake with. There were a set of pots and pans, but nothing for the oven. Cooking utensils were sparse- not one sharp knife but plenty of butter knives...so if you plan to cook you may want to bring your own. Positives: Rate was decent Bed was comfortable Water pressure good Quiet for the most part Hot tub, pool, beach access great Quick reply to maintance issues Kitchen appliances worked well Open area was nice. We would stay there again because of rate but owner needs to do some cleanup to make it better.
