Luxury Sleep on the Beach...Newly renovated Treasure Chest condo

The condo was perfect for my husband and I, and the ocean views are amazing. We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was with all the activity going on. The welcome letter explained how to check in and out perfectly, and we found the security to be very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub areas were immaculate. There werr many thoughtful extras in the condo, which we appreciated. We will definitely return.

This condo is an excellent location in the center of the Myrtle Beach area. Very cozy, conveniently located, and also, offers the luxury and convenience of a: “home away from home.” Who could ask for more? A condo right there on the beach, perfect pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and the gym. Krystie is a great communicator and is very hospitable too! My mom and I have enjoyed our stay so much that we will be back next year!

Excellent view and room just as described. Everything worked at the property - jacuzzis, pools, and steam room. As another reviewer noted, I had trouble with the air conditioning. However, after a terse conversation with owner, it was quickly remedied.

Nice, but small studio (i.e. everything is in one room). We were just two people and constantly had to step to the side to let the other pass. All of the furniture was in good condition. The property claims to be smoke free but the whole floor we were on smelled of smoke both tobacco and weed. Cigarette buts all in the landscaping around pools and hot tubs too. Only 2 of the 5 hot tubs worked during our stay and one of those not very hot. Both were WAY over chlorinated which ruined bathing suits and made your skin itch. This essentially made the indoor hot tub useless as you were just sitting in a room full of toxic chemicals. WiFi is non existent, bring your own hot spot. The signal from the wifi is strong but after joining it, you can't do anything. Multiple attempts at hours of the night and day all resulted in 0mbps. Not a big deal, you're on vacation, who needs internet. Well, the TV does for its guide data and all streaming services. So, now you have no TV, no internet, and nothing to do when it rains for half your stay. Screen door to patio doesn't slide, you have to lift it off the track to move it to the side. As already stated though, you don't want to unless you want all the smoke from your neighbors being sucked in to your room. The steam sauna in the building never worked during our stay, the dry sauna couldn't stay warm let alone hot due the door not staying shut. So, if all you want is bed and bathroom this is the place for you.
