Our intimate little lake house is the perfect spot to kick back, relax and take in the gorgeous views. Enjoy an afternoon on the water with access from our private dock and spend the evening grilling with friends on our large deck.
Take a stroll down the incredible Colchester Causeway, take the bike path into Burlington to try out one of the many amazing restaurants, or hop in the car and take the windy roads up to Waterbury and Stowe for a day of touring the beautiful VT mountains.

Lovely home, convenient to Winooski and Burlington with fantastic view across Malletts Bay. House is on a busy road but has enough of a parking pad that allowed easy pull in and pull out. Only wish we had warmer weather to take advantage of the deck and fire pit overlooking the water. Would stay again.

The cottage was exactly as advertised - clean and tidy, nicely decorated, right on the lake, with small but functional kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, good AC, plenty of extra linens and towels and a beautiful view of the bay and marina. As others have mentioned, the property sits on a busy road, but because it is set back down a slope and partially fenced, feels quiet and safe. I would not let young kids or pets play unattended, though. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. They even purchased kayaks for us to use, which was great and much appreciated! Be aware that lake levels fluctuate a lot, and because the lake happened to be quite low during our late August visit, the dock attached to the property was too high off the water/receded lake to be used. Neighboring docks stretched father out into the lake and were useable with a bit of extra legwork. A nice spot for a week away for our family of two adults, one preteen and a dog. Had we planned our trip for a time when the lake was higher, we could have gotten more enjoyment out of the beautiful location. But again, nothing our excellent hosts could do about that!

This is a really nice lakeside cottege. My family had an excellent stay. The location is really great but I would note that Lakeshore Drive can get quite busy - backing out of the driveway required patience at times. Great views of the lake. Mallets Bay is HEAVILY populated with moorings and marinas so this is not a secluded corner of the lake in summertime, it is busy and bustling. The place is well furnished and well equiped. The easy drive to Burlington was also a plus. Overall this is a great location and my family had a really good stay.

Outside furniture could use some tender loving care, other than that, very happy with my stay.
