The H Cottage - free mooring - beach access

The H-Cottage is absolutely beautiful, offering stunning views of Malletts Bay and a super convenient location close to the Burlington airport—which I really appreciated. The space is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, and it truly feels like a home away from home with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. I especially loved the little Nespresso machine for my morning coffee, as well as having access to a washer and dryer—it made everything so easy and convenient. The property also includes beach access and free mooring, which I didn’t personally use, but it’s an excellent perk for anyone traveling with a boat. My favorite part of the stay was relaxing on the patio, sitting on the cozy cushioned bench with a glass of wine and taking in the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect way to unwind. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone visiting the Colchester or Burlington area—it’s a fantastic place to stay!

The only minor issue I encountered had nothing to do with the stay itself, but rather the surrounding area. The nearby restaurants were closed during my visit. I’m not sure if this is a seasonal occurrence or something that happens year-round, but it was a bit disappointing. I was especially looking forward to walking over to The Pickled Perch for a burger with dill ranch sauce and truffle fries! This didn't take away from my experience, and I would highly recommend staying here.
