coastal chic cottage "Heron" minutes to the beach! JULY SAVINGS!

We stayed at the property in April 2026. It is a cute bungalow, and was very clean. The living and sleeping areas were extremely spacious. The beds were super comfortable and the bath linens were plush. We loved the bicycles. There were even beach chairs available, which was a nice touch. The only problem, and it was a big problem, was the door lock. When we arrived, it was 10:00 on a Friday night and we were unable to open the door. After about 10 minutes I phoned the after hours emergency number and was cordially invited to leave a message. Over the next few minutes I left more messages, increasingly panicked. Just when I thought we would have to leave and get a hotel, we were able to open the door. It felt like we were going to break the door in order to get the deadbolt open. An elderly person would definitely not have the strength to open the deadbolt, and it never got easier the entire time we were there. It definitely needs to be replaced. I finally had someone return my after hours emergency calls on Monday morning. If I had never been able to wrench the door open, I would have been out of luck. Besides this, the unit was amazing, as was our trip. If you rent this bungalow, take a bottle of WD40 in case the deadbolt doesn’t get replaced.

This was my second stay . It’s so amazing and the location is perfect !!!! We will be back !

Very responsive host. The cottage was roomy and comfortable and had everything you needed to cook. The bikes were nice and an added bonus. Beach was a couple of hundred yards. Nice neighborhood. We would stay here again.

At first glance the property seemed good, then one thing after another went wrong. All the dishes and silverware were put away dirty. The oven didn’t work. A/c wasn’t cooling well. One in the bedroom would shut off randomly. No hot water in the second bathroom and ants in the first bathroom. I called the emergency line for the property manager and was told they would call for someone to come and fix the air, no one came the first night and I had to call again the next day for help. They sent maintenance and said the problem was resolved but it wasn’t. All in all a very disappointing stay.
