This cozy cottage offers a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. With 3 bedrooms, distributed in two double beds and two single beds, the house has the capacity to accommodate up to 6 guests. Each room has been carefully decorated to provide maximum comfort and tranquillity throughout your stay.
The property offers a full bathroom with shower, for the convenience of guests, and also 2 social toilets, one of which is located outside the house.
The garden that surrounds the house is perfect for moments of rest and leisure outdoors. With a barbecue at your disposal and a pleasant outdoor dining space, enjoy your meals and the panoramic view of the São Vicente valley.
To ensure a peaceful and carefree stay, this accommodation also offers parking space for guests.

AREA
Property located in the northern part of the island, more precisely in Rosário, parish of the municipality of São Vicente. As it is in a more isolated area, you will not find any type of trade in the vicinity of the property. A ten-minute drive from the village of São Vicente, there you will find local shops, restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy.
Near the house, you will find the Miradouro do Rosário and access to several trails and levadas, where you can take the opportunity to stroll and explore the island.
The city of Funchal is 45 minutes away by car. If you choose to go to the center of Funchal, take the opportunity to explore the city and look for more information about all kinds of activities you can do during your vacation: cultural activities, radical activities, activities related to nature ... whatever the purpose of the visit to Madeira Island!
PROPERTY RULES
To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.
• Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• Pets are not permitted.
• Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.
The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property.
In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes.
Municipal tourist tax (when applicable):
€2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival.
Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability.
Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge.
By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions.
OTHER NOTES
All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket.
For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.

The house was very clean, more than enough space in and outside the house, big kitchen. Very complete, the garden had a nice terrace. But the best is the view from the house at the mountains, forest and all the birds singung around the house! We had a fantastic holiday!

It was just for a weekend but it was great. It's not a luxurious house but the location, outdoor space and view were amazing. Very comfortable and great ratio of money/accommodation.

Not only the site is gorgeous with an incredible mountain view, but the house itself is really wonderful.
There is a small supermarket and a bakery about 5 minutes by car, and of course, the amazing north side of the Island to discover.
We weren't blessed with the best weather, but even in the few times it rained, we had a lot of outside locations around the house were we could relax, or even barbecue!
If it didn't rain it was even better! So I recommend taking a good book, whatever meat/veggies you prefer for the barbecue, take long deep breaths and enjoy.
It's a really comfortable place to be in.

The house is beautiful in the hills with a great view. In November it can be too chilly and damp. We needed al lot of electric heating for that. The kitchen could be better equipped but has a lot. The matrasses in the beds were way too hard to be comfortable. That should be changed soon.
Overall a good place to stay. But maybe better in summer than in winter.
