POOL SEASON IS FROM APRIL TO THANKSGIVING. POOL HEATER IS TURNED ON ONCE TEMPERATURES ARE CONSISTENTLY 60 DEGREES AND UP.

Most of the furniture and appliances in this cottage are brand new.
CJ's Getaway is a perfect home for family entertaining. The private, HEATED, in-ground pool (10’x20’) is a great spot to soak up the afternoon sun or splash with the kids. Pool closed in winter, opens at outdoor temp of 55 degrees. The hot tub is the ideal spot to unwind after a great day filled with beach activities, and the home is equipped with surround sound in the main and movie areas! Multiple decks offer the opportunity to relax in the tranquil Outer Banks environment and visit with loved ones. Enjoy warm afternoon sun while the fresh ocean breezes keep you cool and gaze at the night sky filled with bright stars.
CJ's Getaway is also centrally located in the popular community of Old Nags Head Place, and is a short distance from unique beach shops, great restaurants with local flavor, and fun attractions for the entire family. We are .5 miles from Dowdy Park which is great for kids. Jockey's Ridge State Park, the tallest natural sand dune system in the Eastern United States is easily accessible by a pedestrian walkway. Jockey's Ridge is a great spot to walk up and enjoy the sunset over the Sound...arguably the best sunset on the beach. Just a short 6 minute walk to the beach access using the community HOA path.

Property was very clean, and lots of room for me and my extended family(16). Check in process was very easy, host was very reachable and offered helpful suggestions durring our stay. Easy walk to the beach, we traveled with some elderly that were not up for the walk and parking at the beach access was available. Great location close enough to the shops but far enough away that you dont have all the noise. Nags head fishing peir is real close we went almost every morning. I wouldn't hesitate renting this house again!!

House exactly as advertised. Pleanty of room and very clean. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed the home. Backyard pool area could use some TLC with landscaping and plantings but pool worked great and hot tub as well. Overall a great week!

Only issue was paying for a hut tub that didn’t work. Pool was heated and great just disappointed in hot tub. We all were looking forward to using it.

Roomy accomodations however kitchen pots and pans don't accommodate the amount of people you have. (No cutting board or vegetable peeler) if you have to make a meal for 15, it was difficult.
