    The Grand Dame of Africa is fantastic. The late night bar is great and reasonably priced. Pool area is beautiful. However, some rooms are currently facing construction between them and the ocean. The basin water was cold and the shower not quite warm. And there was a buzz from a ventilation shaft in our room one night that never stopped. Overall worth it with one or two disappointments.

    Beautiful setting, pool area is to die for, so peaceful when we were there. One small gripe - no working USB port in the room - but that's a tiny blip on an otherwise fantastic stay

    Don’t think it lives up to its 5 stars. The place is falling apart. When I was there, there were leaks everywhere. The room had flooring coming off and the A/C didn’t really work. The plus with this property are the pool, spa and the gym. Also there are some really nice staff but not all.
