About this cabin rental
The Boondocks Cabin is attractively finished, tucked up in the woods, and pet friendly. The cabin has two bedrooms, each complete with a Sealy Posturepedic queen-size bed with Eurotop for your sleeping comfort, a very nice bathroom, and a completely furnished kitchen. The kitchen has tea bags, sweeteners, and regular and de-cafe coffee. The kitchen and each bedroom have an LED TV that receives local stations. The queen-size futon offers an additional sleeping option. There is an infrared sauna on the enclosed back deck and a hot tub.
One of my cabin renters watched an eagle scoop a fish out of my wetlands pond. It then flew to a tree on the island in the pond and ate the fish. We certainly have an incredible number of wildlife visitors here.

We had the best weekend at Jack’s cabin and beautiful property. The cabin was perfect for Tunnel Hill. Jack is so friendly and fun to talk to while we stayed there. His winery and grounds are so beautiful. We feel so fortunate to have found such a great spot.

Jack is the sweetest! Upon arrival we got to hear some wonderful stories and taste some wine. The cabin was secluded, and the hot tub and sauna were great way to end a day of hiking. The front porch was the perfect spot to watch the sunset and star gaze. It's not fancy, but it doesn't need to be. It's a great spot to get away from it all and relax.

The cabin was great. It had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. The property is beautiful. We loved watching the wildlife from the front porch. We will definitely rent again when we come back to southern Illinois!

Mr. Jack has always been very accommodating gentleman the times we have stayed at his place. It is always enjoyable to have a visit with him at the winery and listening to the many interesting stories he shares. We always look forward to returning. We will always be thankful for his hospitality!
