About this house rental
Stay at The Cottage at Rendleman Orchards, a remodeled 2BR historic farm home on an 800-acre orchard. Enjoy queen beds, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and fire pit with views. Explore guest-only trails, a Secret Mum Trail, wildlife, and seasonal farm magic—peach season, flowers, apples, cider donuts & more. Minutes to Shawnee Wine Trail and Giant City. Optional golf cart rental available.

SPRING: Peach bloom (timing is weather dependent, lasts 1 week, typically in March); Apple bloom (timing is whether dependent, lasts 1 week, typically late March or early April)
SUMMER: Peaches – Late June to end of August; Nectarines – Second week of July to end of August; U-pick zinnias & cosmos, sunflowers
FALL: Apples – First week of September to Halloween. Fresh-picked apples in the market, also apple cider slush, apple cider donuts, u-pick mum field, u-pick autumn sunflowers, u-pick mums & pumpkin patch
WINTER: Peaceful season. Great for winter hikes in the woods. Snow or ice on the fruit trees is a magical sight.
AMENITIES
Half Day Add-On available when adjacent nights are open — check in at 8 AM or check out at 6 PM for half the nightly rate.
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK
Check-in is after 3 PM. Check-out is before 10 AM.
A rental agreement is required with ID verification within 48 hours of booking or before entry, whichever is first.
Pet Policy: Pets are strictly prohibited on this property. This includes all animals, except for legally defined service animals as permitted under applicable law. Emotional support animals (ESAs) and therapy animals are not considered service animals and are not permitted.
Any unauthorized animal brought onto the property will result in additional cleaning and/or damage fees and may result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund.
Inventory: We provide a "starter package" of inventory for our cabin: 3 rolls of toilet paper and 1 full roll of paper towels.

It’s a very cute old farm house nestled in a peach orchard! Rolling hills with a porch swing that overlooks the orchards and a pond. The hosts provide all of the essential's for a comfortable stay! Communication is wonderful from beginning to the end! Would stay here again and again!

The Cottage is easily one of the best places I've ever rented! All of the personal touches and extras provided (firewood, eggs from the chicken coop, fishing poles for the pond, and the telescope) make this location a must-stay. My kids absolutely LOVED hanging out with the chickens! I made plenty of cherished memories by teaching my children how to fish, start a fire, and use the telescope to stargaze. Next time we will 100% be renting the golf cart to explore more of the orchard and take advantage of everything this place has to offer. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience! We will be back!

The property was so adorable! We appreciated all the thoughtful touches - backyard games for use, fire starters and lighters, blankets for near the fire, etc. We loved gathering and eating fresh eggs from the chickens and riding the golf cart through all the marked paths. The kids loved fishing in the ponds. We had a great time - beautiful place! We'd highly recommend for couples, a daily, a girls trip - anyone would love this place!

We have family in the area and stayed here for an evening Everything we needed was right there including a pizza in the freezer which was delicious! We enjoyed the fire pit complete with plenty of wood to burn The chickens were so fun to watch!!
The farm house is adorable and to be able to snap a picture of the peaches beginning to ripen was so neat !
