Nestled in Alto Pass, Alto Cabin is the perfect escape for wine lovers, adventurers, and families alike. This three-level retreat offers comfort, charm, and plenty of space to relax. The first floor has a cozy rec-room feel, complete with a bedroom featuring two twin beds, a full bath, washer and dryer, and arcade games for a bit of fun. Walk up the spiral staircase to the bright and welcoming main level, where you’ll find a brand new fully stocked kitchen, complete with spices, olive oil, and everything you need to whip up a feast for your loved ones. This floor also houses a spacious king bedroom with an attached full bath. The final floor offers a beautiful lofted queen bedroom, a gorgeous fully remodeled bathroom, and a full-sized desk, making it an ideal spot for both rest and remote work.
Step outside and unwind in the brand new hot tub or gather around the firepit under the stars. Fun fact: the large stones leading up to the firepit were excavated right from the property, giving it a touch of authentic Alto Pass character. Surrounded by 20 private acres in the heart of the Shawnee National Forest, the cabin is less than a mile from three wineries on the Shawnee Wine Trail. We stayed here for a hunting trip and it was amazing. The house was very well-appointed and the hot tub for sure got used after some long day out in the cold looking for deer! We will definitely rent again!

Loved loved LOVED our stay! It was close enough to everything, yet we still felt away from the world (which is exactly what we wanted). We always stay at VRBOs and this was the first one that had a knife set (we aleays bring our own because usually the knives suck). The hot tub was absolutely perfect. Beth was super responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back, hopefully next time with my mom, sister, her partner, and their baby.
