I must say I struggled with giving this house 5 stars, but I must because it really is a great place to stay and I do recommend it and think most anyone would be happy staying there. The house is big with 4 good bedrooms, beautiful living area, very clean, incredible light and views. The kitchen is well equipped and the wi-fi worked well.I struggle because there are numerous small maintenance issues that should be fixed. Dish washer doesn’t work, one of two ovens doesn’t work, stove burners sometimes require matches to light, windows in one of the downstairs bedrooms leak. None of these things would stop me from staying there again.

Beautiful home with great views of the ocean as long as the weather permits. Plenty of room for 8 adults to get separation and privacy when needed. Loved the wood burning fireplace and if you needed any grocery items the Tomales general store was in easy driving distance.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Dillon Beach. The location is scenic and peaceful, ideal if you want to experience the beauty of the Pacific coast. The views from this home are magnificent (A). There is also a two-mile trail at the end of the cul de sac (5-minute walk from home) that takes you along the Pacific coast with stunning views of the rocky coast and beaches. Beyond the coastal landscape, the home served as an ideal launch point for several day trips. This included visits to Sonoma, Napa and Bodega Harbor for wine tastings, shopping and dinner. We also visited Armstrong Redwood State Natural Reserve to admire the California redwoods and hiked several trails on Point Reyes that offered views of the lighthouse and Pacific coastline. While my family enjoyed a wine tasting in Bodega Harbor, I was able to play golf at The Links at Bodega Harbor. The course is top notch with great playing conditions, ocean views and friendly staff.The house itself is spacious, with four generously sized bedrooms, a well-appointed kitchen, and a large hot tub. It was thoughtfully stocked with necessities, including napkins, paper towels, etc.Lastly, Harmon, the host, was great with communication and checked in midway through our stay to make sure all was going well. PS – Loved the Route One Bakery for coffee and Danish in the morning.
