The Pirate's Cove sits high on a bluff and offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Tomales Bay and Bodega Bay. Watch the deer roam the neighborhood and the hawks soar. This is the perfect house for large family gatherings. The kitchen and dining area are very expansive and can handle large parties. You can enjoy incredible sunsets from the kitchen or the dining room table. The sun room is a fantastic place to relax and read a book or bring out the board games and enjoy the views. This home has views of the ocean from the living room, kitchen, dining room, sun room and master bedroom. The back yard is fenced with a BBQ, patio area, picnic area and stainless steel sinks. This 3 bedroom 2 bath home has something for everyone in the family. There is an abundance of wildlife at Dillon Beach. Just a 1 minute drive to the beach or a short walk down the hill.
The Dillon Beach general store is close for your shopping needs. The Dillon Beach Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you want to venture out you can travel to Pt. Reyes and get Oysters from the world famous oyster farmers in Marshall known as Hog Island Oyster Co. or Tomales Bay Oysters. Nick's Cove, is just a 5 minute drive from Dillon Beach and has been featured on Travel and in Sunset Magazine.

The house could use some exterior maintenance—our first impression was underwhelming. The front porch had bird droppings that hadn't been cleaned with an empty nest above. This was a concern with our dogs who wanted to investigate and get the droppings on them. The doormat was flipped on the grass with tons of ants underneath, possibly from spilled food.Inside, the house was fairly clean overall, though some areas like the window corners had visible cobwebs that accumulated over time and seemed to have been missed. The backyard also needed a bit more care. It would have been helpful to know ahead of time that the BBQ grill was charcoal.The listing mentioned a panoramic ocean view, but in reality, nearby houses blocked much of it.Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our stay—but for the price, we expected the home to be in better condition. A little more attention to detail would go a long way.
