About this house rental
We welcome you to an independent holiday home with terraces, surrounded by nature. Our property, "La Colline aux Oiseaux," is located in Alsace, at the heart of the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park, a UNESCO biosphere reserve bordering Germany’s Palatinate.
The house sits on 60 ares of flower-filled garden and beautiful trees. The greenery creates shaded areas where you can relax out of the sun. A secure, enclosed area near the house is available for your dog, who is welcome for an extra fee. Enjoy lunch on the terrace beneath a grapevine and watch many birds.
The 80 m² house, ideal for 4 people or a family, features a living room, a toilet, and a kitchen renovated in 2022 with a dishwasher. Upstairs, there are two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet (renovated in March 2026). The house is old with thick walls, keeping it cool in summer. All linens are provided and beds are made on your arrival. A washing machine is available.
Free amenities include a wood stove (wood provided free of charge), high-speed internet and Wi-Fi, TV, and hiking maps.
This is an ideal base, with La Petite Pierre nearby, for hiking or mountain biking among many stunning sandstone sites. You can also visit Wingen-sur-Moder, Strasbourg, Saverne, and Sarreguemines.
There is no air conditioning, but the house stays cool in summer and is heated if needed. You can park your car in a private parking area or in a garage.
Parties are not allowed.

Pros: We had a great stay at Didier and Isabel’s house. In the middle of nature with a huge garden. The house head everything we needed and the hosts are very helpful and friendly. We hope to come back again!
