The lovingly restored Maison Zielinger captivates today, just as it did in the past, with its cozy, inviting atmosphere, its spacious grounds—in addition to the main residence, there is a large courtyard, a barn with a game room, and a picturesque orchard—and its unique location in the heart of the “Vosges du Nord” nature reserve.
Renovated with great care and a deep appreciation for historical details, the house offers a unique living experience with historic charm, while also providing all the amenities of modern living (newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen).
For families and children, the property—with its large garden and courtyard, playground, and cozy barn arbors—provides the ideal setting for a wide range of leisure activities both indoors and outdoors. A table tennis room, pool table, soccer goals, and much more ensure that there’s plenty of fun and active recreation for young and old alike. You can prepare your own culinary delights on the grill in the garden and courtyard, or visit one of the numerous nearby restaurants—such as the closest one, “La Petite Pierre,” which, thanks to its special location and excellent service, delights more than just the palate.

We spent a week with 3 generations gathering from several locations in the world to celebrate Christmas. The house was perfect for our group - private rooms for all, plenty of space to allow for gatherings and private time, well-equipped as we cooked almost every meal, and the billiard room was a favorite for lots of fun and laughter! A wonderful bakery two doors down, nice supermarkets within 15 -20 minutes and well-marked hiking paths in the nearby forest starting across the street - a great place to go!
