Our 4-bedroom, 2-bath home is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood. It’s best suited for families, mature travelers, and small, quiet groups.
This is a peaceful home—not a party house.
We do not allow parties, events, or gatherings with outside guests.
If you’re looking for a lively, social, or late-night setting, this may not be the right fit. We ask all guests to be mindful of noise at all times, both day and night.
Quiet Hours & Noise
Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Please keep noise low at all times, including during the day
No amplified music, indoors or outdoors
There is a separate in-law unit located below the living room (not part of this listing, with its own private entrance).
For this reason, we especially appreciate extra care with noise in the living room, dining area, and kitchen during quiet hours.
Guests & Occupancy (Important)
Our home comfortably accommodates up to 6 registered guests, which is included in the base rate.
Additional guests: $100 per person, per day
Only registered guests are allowed on the property at any time
Please make sure the correct number of guests is entered when booking so we can prepare the home accordingly.
Pets
We’re happy to welcome well house-trained pets
Pet fee: $100 per stay
Pets must not be left unattended
Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or additional cleaning
Parking & Arrival (Important)
Two designated parking spaces are available at the top of the driveway
Street parking is not permitted (all roadside areas are private property)
Please do not use the neighbor’s driveway
Arrival tip:
Please veer RIGHT at the mailboxes to access our driveway.
Do not take the driveway on the left.
If you have a third vehicle, you may park along the left side of our driveway.
Please keep the carport clear at all times, as a Jeep needs to be able to enter and exit.
At the end of the driveway, there is a small standalone building used for owner storage (not part of the guest space).
Access & Layout
From the parking area, you’ll walk up about 15 stairs to reach the front deck and main entrance.
Once inside, all bedrooms and bathrooms are located on one level.

A stone gas fireplace in the main living area
Natural pine-paneled walls
Hardwood and tile flooring throughout most of the home
Multiple sofas for relaxing by the fire
A desk and chair suitable for work or study
A dining area and newly renovated kitchen

Sleeping arrangements include:
Two king beds (one newly added in 2026)
One queen bed (2023)
One queen-size sofa bed in a bright, separate room
Both full bathrooms were fully renovated in 2023.
Location & Surroundings
The home sits on nearly half an acre at the end of a quiet road, offering privacy, forest views, sunny lawns, and a seasonal creek.
There are no streetlights in the area, so nights are quite dark—perfect for stargazing.
Wildlife is part of the landscape here, and you may see deer, raccoons, coyotes, or birds of prey.
Guests are welcome to explore the backyard and follow the walking path to a quiet meditation spot, with direct access to open space connected to Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

We had a great stay, loved the vibes and location. We didn’t notice the no TV part on the listing but enjoyed the relaxing detox it provided. The beds were not comfortable, particularly the sofa bed was pretty tough. Overall it really met our needs and we had everything we needed but recommend reading all the details to make sure it works for you before booking.

The house was clean and comfortable. The only thing we didn't care for was the mattress was too firm in the primary bed, but overall it's a nice place and there is wildlife around. We got in late and left early so we really only slept in the home.

The home is quaint and tucked away quietly in the redwoods with a warm, cozy fireplace that we enjoyed. The rooms are a bit dated, but the kitchen is open and spacious which was important to our chefs in the family:) There happened to be a troublesome ant situation while we were there that was unable to be addressed during our stay, however, we were told this would be tended to after our departure, which I'm sure they will/did...just would be sure to request there is ant spray stored at the house in the event it is needed...
