About this house rental
SLEEPING
Four bedrooms sleep eight. Upstairs: the master with a king bed, a walk-in closet and French doors onto a private terrace with Golden Gate Bridge views, plus two more queen bedrooms. Downstairs: a fourth queen bedroom with a writing desk. Every bed has a hybrid mattress and Brooklinen linens.
BATHROOMS
Four full bathrooms. The master ensuite and the upstairs bathroom each have a walk-in shower, the second with a bench under a skylight. There is a second ensuite on the main level, also a walk-in shower, and a main-level bathroom with a combined tub and shower.
LIVING
The main level is open-plan, with French doors to a private backyard and a chef's kitchen built around an oversized island — full cookware and knives, an espresso machine, French press and grinder. Hardwood floors and designer furniture throughout.
WORKING
Gigabit Wi-Fi on a whole-home mesh network, a dedicated office with dual monitors and a proper chair, and a separate media room. Reliable enough for back-to-back calls anywhere in the house.
ALSO HERE
A home gym with a Torque F9 wall-mounted cable trainer, dumbbells and kettlebells. A full-size washer and dryer. A private one-car garage, a rarity in the Sunset. A keyless smart lock.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Golden Gate Park is at the end of the block. UCSF Parnassus is a 25-minute walk, a 10-minute bike ride, or five minutes by car. The N Judah light rail runs to Ocean Beach one way and downtown the other, with the 7, 44, 66, 6 and 43 bus lines within a few blocks. Cafes, groceries and some of the city's best casual restaurants sit around Irving and 9th.
GOOD TO KNOW
Thirty-night minimum — this is a furnished mid-term rental, not a nightly listing. All utilities and gigabit Wi-Fi are included, along with one professional cleaning per month. Pets are welcome, and a hand steam cleaner is provided for quick messes. The home is strictly non-smoking.
