About this cabin rental

This cabin has a fantastic view of the lake and mountains and is near Petit Jean State Park. Big deck with lots of seating. Zipline, kayaks, fishing poles, life jackets, and games provided. Kitchen, bath and laundry well stocked.

We really appreciated how well-stocked the cabin was—there were plenty of extras, a great TV setup, and the free Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The view of the lake was beautiful and one of the highlights of our stay.However, there were a few areas that could use improvement. There was a noticeable overall smell in the cabin that was hard to overlook. The exterior of the property needs some attention—power washing the house, deck, outdoor furniture, and kayaks would go a long way in making the space more inviting and comfortable to use. Privacy was also a concern, as the windows on the back of the home did not have curtains. Additionally, one of the kayaks we used was taking on water and was completely full by the time we returned to the dock, which could be unsafe.Overall, with some care and maintenance, this place could be great, especially given its location in regards to being on the lake and amenities.
