Situated in the gated community, 43-acre resort in the heart of Destin, amenities available at Sandpiper Cove including a marina, 5 pools, 3 hot tubs, 6 tennis courts, a executive 9-hole golf course and 2 onsite restaurants. You'll find white-water ocean views in every room, and glass doors that open onto the ocean-facing decks. There are three flights of stairs to go up to condo.

Pros:it's easy access to the beach. it has an onisight drink and good shack It can sleep a lot of people.The AC works very well. Cons: All the deck furniture to lounge on was broken. No beach equipment was left to use. In the box where it would be kept were old fishing hooks and trash. We have two young kids and thank goodness they listen when we say don't touch certain things but younger kids might not listen as well and getting their hands on a rusty hook is dangerous. The place was mostly clean, but the baseboards were beat up and nasty and the walls had scuffs and old holes in them. The kitchen sinks was old and gross. There were gaps in the flooring and the kitchen was missing three planks. They covered up with a rug but it was noticeable because we immediately noticed it. The pools and golf course are on the other side of the road in the other part of the place. So inconvienent to get to if your on the beach side. With two young kids it was never worth making the hike over there. There is a dinner table but it's in a spot where you can't see the ocean and by the bedrooms so it's not the view you want while you're eating at the beach. It seemed rather obvious the listing pictures had been enhanced by AI. Which led to a rather disappointing walk into the condo after seeing them. Overall, we'd probably look for other accommodations the next time, but it's wasn't an awful experience.
