About this apartment rental
Welcome to our sweet retreat. Tucked away below our main residence, our hideaway gives you the chance stay within walking distance to charming downtown Fairfax.
Easily walk to great restaurants, bars, live music, shops and a terrific, natural grocery store.
If you want to rest, our beautiful, shared backyard garden is a private park-like setting.
Treat this as your home base for adventures, bike rides, hikes, and picnics around Marin, wine country, and San Francisco (45-minute drive).
THE SPACE
The unit is located beneath our primary residence with its own separate entrance.
The retreat has a sunken patio adjacent to the shared backyard space. You have access to both outside spaces.
We have a small dog who may be in the backyard space at times, but she should not be intruding on your space.
Point Reyes National Seashore, Muir Woods, Mount Tamalpais, Wine Country, Spirit Rock Meditation Center, and San Francisco are all within a 45-minute drive, so this is an ideal location for adventure and discovery.

Enter the guest suite from the gate to the right of the primary residence walking down a path to the back of the house.

My husband and I attended a wedding at Deer Park Villa literally 5 minute drive from where we were staying, perfect location and the cutest apartment. The apartment felt like we were in a hotel but without the hotel vibe. It was so welcoming and all of the little details around the house made our trip great! Michael is attentive too, we appreciate you!

amazing spot! walking distance from both fairfax and san anselmo. The host was kind and easy to talk to, and very helpful. The bread and jam was amazing as well.

A lovely place to stay. Lots of nice features, even a gas fireplace. Comfortable. Overlooks a pretty back garden. Great location.
