Quaint 960 sq ft ranch style cottage with a great open feel along with a spacious private backyard. Lake Michigan is only 1.5 miles away and there is channel access about 400 feet away at the end of Channel Lane and Silver Lake access points not far away. 30 miles north is Ludington and Muskegon is 40 miles south.

Property was clean and house stayed cool. Beds were comfortable and we liked the open layout. The host had several items available if you forgot your own, such as hygiene products, camp chairs, etc. we didn’t need them but it was a nice touch.

We arrived at the cottage, used the lock box for entry. Instructions were pretty simple, however the lock box just needed a little love and patience. The cottage looks better than pictured. There were extra towels, linen and cleaning products. The beds were comfortable. The couches were a bit of an eye sore but that was minor compared to the location, price and amazing customer service. I would definitely book again. I met the cleaning ladies on my way out held a brief conversation and everyone is sweet as pie! If you need a hug from life, go here! Absolutely no complaints from my picky kids and that’s rare!

If it had been cheaper, we wouldn’t have felt as bad. But it was the highest priced of the three VRBOs we stayed at, and definitely the shabbiest. There was a bit of grittiness on the floor and a few clumps of hair. No place to put the fan so it could help cool. No place to put luggage. No bed side lamps, meaning we had to get out of bed to turn off lights.
