About this cottage rental
This 1400-square foot cottage boasts peaceful semi-wooded setting and an easy 7-minute walk to almost a mile of breathtaking Lake Michigan beach and dunes. Cottage features well-furnished kitchen, deck, spacious 3-season porch, washer/dryer, and microwave. Swim in either Lake Michigan; or in Stony Lake a mile away. Just minutes from championship golf courses, horseback riding, Silver Lake Dunes (7 miles north) , largest amusement park in Michigan, and Hart-Montague Bike Trail. A short drive will take you to everything from roadside fruit & vegetable stands to antique shops to a winery. If you're looking for a private setting near the Lake Michigan shoreline, with easy hiking for miles in either direction, you've found your vacation destination!
Rental period - Check-in 4p.m., check-out 10a.m.
$150 Security deposit
This will not be returned if cottage is left unreasonably unclean and/or in disrepair. The cabin will be clean when you arrive and must be reasonably clean when you depart.
Cancellation policy: We will refund the weeks rental IF we can re-rent your week, however you will forfeit your deposit if we are unable to fill that week.
No dirt bikes, motorcycles, ATVs or 4-wheelers on the property.
Note: Blink Video Doorbell is used onsite at the main entry door to the property.

We fully enjoyed our stay at your cabin, the weather wasn't always cooperating wind wise, but we still got plenty if sun and fishing in and would most certainly rent this property again…and when I retire in a few years, I’d seriously consider moving to Stony Lake area full time and become your neighbor or buy yours if it’s ever for sale!Loved the access to the private beach away from the public access, which is awesome as well, and my son and his friends love jumping from the bridge in the canal between lakes!

We had a great stay. The house was well supplied, the area is peaceful and close to the beach. The hosts were quick to reply when I asked a question and the check in/out was easy. ☺️

This is the perfect cabin in the woods……spacious indoors and out, stocked with everything you could possibly need, and near Lake Michigan and Stony Lake beaches.
Lovely deck to listen to the breeze in the trees, drink morning coffee, gather and talk.
Beach chairs and inner tubes available.
Very kind next door neighbor, who gave us a local map and suggestions for special places to visit.
All in all a relaxing and satisfying stay. ❤️

We were bit disappointed with this place, but it did serve its purpose. The community is nice. We didn’t use the beach area, the kids preferred the oval.
We did not sleep well, the mattresses we really poor. The water pressure in the shower was fine for two minutes then you are standing there trying to rinse off in a trickle of water.
It was a really humid in the house (dehumidifier was off, not even plugged in). Took most of the week with us having to empty the tank several times a day to make it feel comfortable inside. The humidity was probably the cause for all the spiders. We thoroughly cleaned before we left. Maybe if we did this day one we would have felt more comfortable.
