About this house rental
Hello, I have a house for weekly rental. It is only 5 miles to Silver Lake dune entrance and 5 miles to downtown Pentwater. 3 Blocks away is a beach on beautiful Lake Michigan. Address is 7340 Toliver St, Mears Mi, 49436. This is a family rental, We rent to a maximum of ten guests. With a maximum of 4 adults. The area is a nice quiet spot with nice neighbors so it’s not used as a party house. We rent Sunday to Sunday. It is located in Pentwater township in a quiet wooded area. Our land is adjacent to 200 acres of wooded state land with trails for exploring or bike riding. Our house has two floors. Top floor has an open concept main living room, dining room and kitchen. There is a full bathroom and master bedroom also on that level. Kitchen is fully stocked including dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, coffee maker and much more. The large master bedroom has queen bed, 2 dressers, closet and lots of light coming in through two big windows. Living room has natural light coming in through a set of French doors leading to a new very large deck with plenty of seating and propane grill. Living room has TV with DISH service comfy couch and two reclining chairs. Bathroom on this level has tub/shower. On the ground floor there is a second bedroom with a set of double bunkbeds heavy duty enough to support 2 adults on top and two adults on bottom. There is a second set of the same double bunk beds off to the side of large family room. Our family room has a large screen TV with Dish service, 2 couches, chairs, coffee and end tables, mini fridge, small table and chairs. There is a laundry/bathroom combo with washer and dryer, toilet, sink, shower.
There is more than enough parking for any dune toys you bring including covered parking under large deck.
We do have central air and internet. A brand new as of 2021 water softener. I must confess the internet service up there is sketchy.
Our house may not be fancy but it is comfortable and has everything you need to create wonderful memories.

Update: New refrigerator as of 8/19/2020 :), 2021 new dishwasher, 2021 new water softener.

While we do allow you to bring 1 dog upon approval, there are breed restrictions. ( no cats )We do have a dog contract that will need to be signed and a 200.00 deposit that can be made via Facebook, PayPal or cash app. Unfortunately we have had a few bad experiences that forced us to add rules.
Just a heads up you do need to bring a kennel for you pooch. He needs to be kenneled when not supervised. Also dogs need to stay off all furniture.
As far as Covid. Our cleaning person cleans the home then wipes down hard surfaces with a 10% bleach solution and Lysol on soft surfaces.

We really loved this location. We were able to explore the region, but also enjoyed the super-close, local beach. Beach access was a quick drive (under 1 min.) or walk (under 10 min.). Stairs necessary to access beach. Bring sheets, blankets, pillowcases - and toiletries. This created extra planning BUT made an already homey place seem even homier. Owner communicates this very clearly. The deck, grill, dishwasher, 2 bathrooms, 2 whole living rooms, W&D made this a super comfortable stay. We each enjoyed our own bed! Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous time. Laura was an amazing host. She was attentive and answered any and all questions. I would highly recommended this location to family and friends. The house was in a perfect location, as we were able to take day trips to Pentwater, Silver Lake, and Ludington.

This property was exactly as marketed. It was in an ideal location that felt removed from everyday life, yet was close to two nearby towns that had plenty to do!
