We loved your family trip to Buena Vista and this house was great! Nice that it was remote but also easy to get into BV or drive to Salida. Would definitely recommend this house to others! My friends and I had a wonderful time in the cabin, we stayed for two nights and the place was amazing with the location, the views, and the privacy. The cabin was very neat and everything worked just fine, the instructions were very accurate and helpful. The communication with the hosts was very prompt and welcoming. Being from Texas, we always wanted to experience, a cozy cabin in the woods and we got it with this Cabin. The scenery and drive just to get there were amazing.The Star gazing at night was breathtaking, it was cold but worth being out on the deck looking at the beautiful sky.Couple of cautions- the cabin is out there, and the nearest grocery store is about 35-40 minutes away. The elevation is high if you're not used to it and may cause you to slow down :)

My family and I chose this cabin for our Thanksgiving and it was literally perfect. Woke up to deer walking through the snow in the front yard, has a perfectly equipped kitchen to cook a large meal, and close enough to Buena Vista/Salida for a fun day trip while feeling like we were far out in the country. We don't have a single complaint! The stargazing out there is unbelievable and the cabin is so cozy. When we arrived, there was about 1.5 ft of snow but the driveway was plowed as well! I'd recommend this place to everyone and hope to be back soon :)

This was our first Vrbo experience as a family and we couldn’t have been happier with the stay. From horseshoes in the back, games and a Ms Pac-Man downstairs, a fan in every bedroom, and a well stocked kitchen, the owners have thought of everything to make your stay convenient and enjoyable. They even build your first fire in the wood stove should you choose to use it. You just need to light it. The property is a haven for those who love wildlife and quiet, yet it is conveniently located near Buena Vista and Salida or a day trip to Breckenridge

First, the property was very clean, which is a big deal for us. Checking in and out were easy. The house is about 20 minutes from town, but we wanted to be out in the mountains, so the drive was totally worth it. It’s in a beautiful area and we would stay there again.

I just want to start by saying that this was an ideal property for our getaway. We really enjoyed everything that this cabin has to offer. The place was clean, cozy and there was everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was nice to be able to just play games or watch movies in the evening while having a nice fire going in the wood burning stove. The owners are very nice and thoughtful.When we arrived they had a vase of flowers and a balloon on the table for my wife’s birthday. Nice touch - thank you! We look forward to returning this summer and enjoying this cabin in the warmer months.
