Perfect for mountain weddings, romantic getaways, home base while you go out and discover everything the mountains have to offer. Enough room for the entire family to have their own space.
Our location makes for a perfect home base while exploring the abundance of nearby gold panning, alpine/cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, hiking, fishing, sightseeing, mountain biking, ATV trails, hunting, and so much more. Or, stay put and relax while reading a good book, challenge your group to a rousing game of Scrabble, or simply take in the scenery from the expansive wrap-around deck.
For those of you who can’t get away from the office or feel lost without their Facebook or Twitter, don’t fret...we have wireless internet for you; great for this type of use.
Don’t forget to bring your hiking or walking shoes to stroll the many miles of country roads around the cabin. Mountain bikes are also a great way to check out the area.
One of the many features we have to offer is to simply step out onto the deck on a cloudless, moonless night. You will be amazed by the star lit sky. Try to keep count the number of shooting stars you’ll witness. It is difficult to appreciate the vast skies amid the drowning lights of the city.
Owners can arrange tour and hard rock prospecting/mining experience on personal Lode Mining Claim in the historical Buckskin Gulch Mining District, Alma, CO (Typically late May thru early October).
Although we have many nearby places to dine you will want to stay in and prepare a meal in this state of the art kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need to prepare anything from a small snack to a full meal. Master bedroom has an ensuite with a jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, double vanity, and full walk-in closet; you will feel like you have stepped into a spa.

Love your place! New rugs, pillows, etc are great. We saw one of the best sunsets from the deck the other day. We enjoyed a couple of soaks in the hot tub. Internet worked great the entire long weekend. We always take turns cooking marvelous meals & the kitchen always has everything we need.

Great vacation home. My family has stayed in this home 3 times in the past 6 years! This home has everything you need for your trip, I mean it’s well stocked, comfortable, and there was plenty of room for 6 of us. The views are outstanding; we saw deer every day and even saw a huge black bear (it went to a home down the street and ripped down somebody’s bird feeder). I had a favor to ask of the hosts and they helped me out without hesitation. Highly recommended!

This was AMAZING! You could literally go here with only the clothes on your back. Everything is thought of and ready for anything you could possibly need. Stunning attention to detail makes it obvious that this is a well loved home. My favorites:Deer in the backyardHot tub at nightBlack squirrels climbing the houseBuena Vista - Eddy Line for sureEverything about this home is inviting. Would book it again next week. There is something soothing about open doors and mountain air with the fireplace that makes my soul happy. Do not second guess yourself about this beautiful home, I promise it will be wonderful.
