Casa Abuela was a wonderful place to stay for my famiy and i (4 total). Don't let the humble exterior fool you. The house is truly great. It had everything we needed (full kitchen set up), washer/dryer, comfortable beds and pullout sofa, good wi-fi, heated floors) and is located above a bluff so we had a commanding view of the mountains! My only advice is that being located a few minutes from town and off a dirt road, you may want to arrive before dark. Google Maps is correct, but since the house is in the back of the owner's house, it's better to have a bit of daylight left.

Great location for Taos, and perfect for what we needed. It was impeccably clean, well-stocked, and the host was incredibly accommodating and quick to respond. I highly recommend this rental!

Excellent property. Beautiful views of the Taos Mountains. Next Taos trip this is the property I'll be staying at again.
