About this house rental

Our hacienda is located in the heart of Taos, adjacent to Kit Carson Park and only 5 blocks from the Historic Taos Plaza. The house is on a large lot only a block away from undeveloped Taos Pueblo lands, and is very quiet and peaceful. Lots of birds, bunnies and a small prairie dog colony that are fun to observe.
Traditional Adobe Style with beautiful Viga ceilings, Tile, Flagstone & Wood Floors.
3 Bedroom : 1 King size Bedroom with Private Bath, 1 King size Bedroom and 1 Full size Bedroom share a Bathroom, additional 1/2 bath is off the laundry room, 2 1/2 Bathrooms total.
Fully Furnished Kitchen stocked with handmade pottery made by owner.
Craftsman style furnishings featuring Taos influenced artwork and folk art.
Laundry
No television.
Please no pets or fires.

The extraordinary beauty of this home in Taos along with its peaceful setting and convenient location made it one of the best - if not THE best- VRBO experience I have ever had. The host's collection of art, pottery, artifacts and furniture were delightful to study and put to practical use. My travellibg companions and I took advantage of the patio are at night to gaze at stars and I enjoyed watching the prairie dogs each morning as I enjoyed coffee on the front porch. An added benefit was the discovery of Mabel Dodge Luhan's home/retreat at the end of the road ... it just seemed like a fortuitous place for us to land. The practical things ... cleanliness, communication, ease of access and amenities ... 5 star. If we ever return to Taos, we would love to stay again.

The website didn’t describe how absolutely charming this was! We enjoyed coffee in the outside atrium every morning. The decor was appealing. The handmade pottery was lovely. We had a wonderful time.

Our stay at James and Monica’s VRBO was awesome! Their home is beautiful, furnished with gorgeous Southwest collectibles and decorations in a very pretty and peaceful setting with an easy to walk to town. The home was clean and very comfortable. We couldn’t find the lockbox at first but that was more our fault of operator error, lol! I would definitely recommend a stay here!
