This is one of the newest homes in Mission Beach. Fresh and inviting, comfortable and well suited for all ages. Equipped with elevator for convenience; perfect for families. This home is "detached" private 2800 square feet which gives every room a comfortable space and privacy. EVERY room has it's own FULL bathroom. 6 total bathrooms in the home. Not your typical tight rental. 6-7 person out door hot tub, large outdoor BBQ, fire pit!

1 bedroom with a bunk bed with 2 double mattresses and trundle twin bed with full mattress (sleeps 5)

A downstairs sleeper sofa that converts to queen.
This totals 7 queen and 1 full as primary accommodations.

This is one of the newest homes in Mission Beach. Fresh and inviting, comfortable and well suited for all ages. Equipped with elevator for convenience; perfect for families. The top floor master bath was very nice. The 3 levels was not ideal for carrying things up and down and some of the beds were very uncomfortable. Didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub sadly.

The location of this house is great! Having so many bedrooms with private bathrooms is a plus for families. The house is quiet even though it’s on Mission Blvd. The hot tub was a great addition! The house does have very steep stairs so be careful with young kids and seniors. It does have an elevator which helps. The living space is not very large but the kitchen is very well stocked and clean.

Great location, nice outdoor courtyard and the elevator is a nice option for the 3 story home. I love that each bedroom has an adjoining bathroom. The house offers a lot of fun beach toys, chairs, shade options and a wagon to carry it all to the beach.

I was very happy with both the property and the owner. She and I spoke several times before the stay, and she was always fair, accommodating, and easy to work with. While she had a few understandable rules in place to protect her investment, she showed flexibility and was very reasonable as long as communication was clear.One area for improvement would be the cooling system. The home currently relies on individual wall-mounted A/C units, which aren’t sufficient for such a large property. Many rooms don’t retain the cool air well, making it difficult to keep the house comfortable, especially for sleeping. Upgrading to a central A/C system would be a great investment. We also tried opening the windows for airflow, but many didn’t open fully, limiting that option as well.Lastly, while not the owner’s fault, guests should be aware that there are a lot of flies on the patio area. We bought and hung four fly traps along the fencing, which helped, but there were still quite a few around.Overall, the owner was wonderful to work with, and the property has a lot of potential. With some improvements to the cooling system and minor adjustments, it could be an even better stay.

The property was perfect for our needs. We had 10 adults that stayed in the property, and 2 others that stayed nearby and visited during the day. We loved the location, all the beach items in the shed, the rooms, the grill, the hot tub, the massive garage and alley parking, plenty of tables and chairs in kitchen and courtyard, 2 sets of washer/dryer, and the elevator for heavy luggage. The property is a bit older and it shows, but nothing was a problem. The host was easy to communicate with and work with. This property is great for larger groups.The only nit-picky item that we had was that the fridge and freezer and the floors were a little unclean upon checkin. Nothing major, just small spills in the fridge/freezer that had not been cleaned, and sand everywhere on the floors (it's right by the beach, so there's going to be sand everywhere :D). We easily cleaned these up during our stay, and they didn't detract from our experience.

I loved that our entire party of 16 people could fit inside one home with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. I also loved how close it was to the beach. The downside was there was sand all of over the floor of the entire home when we first got there. It was as if no one cleaned the floor prior to us getting there. I couldn’t find a mop, broom or vacuum cleaner to clean the floor myself. We just ended up wearing shoes around the house. Word of advice, don’t use the stone table in the courtyard. There is a small sign posted to the front door as you leave the house (easy to miss) that says don’t move the table and that it is extremely heavy. One person in our party sat on it and the leg of the bench broke. We now don’t get our deposit back because the owner needs to fix the bench. The table will be out of commission for the next few months, says the owner. So anyone that rents this place after the outdoor table/bench is fixed, just be careful.

Beautiful property that needs some maintenance. The elevator didn’t work, the window in the master suite didn’t close, the drain in the master bath was slow/clogged, the dishwasher wouldn’t turn on. There was so much stuff in the garage we couldn’t get two cars in. The WiFi was spotty such that I didn’t get messages from the host. This was only our second VRBO booking but, I don’t remember such draconian contracts to sign. We only had a couple of days to spend in Mission Beach so we chose this property after getting rejected by a couple of hosts, we should have booked a hotel.

Had a great time with 10 adults and 5 kids, great for doing some of our own cooking, and just a short path straight to a really nice beach. Minutes away from Seaworld and about 15 minutes to the Zoo. There is a quaint amusement park 1 block away. We were able to park 3 cars on property and to more for free nearby! Again, a fantastic time!

The home had plenty of space for us and all five bedrooms had their own full bath. Most windows had power shades; a big plus. Gas stove in kitchen annd gas grill in courtyard were great to cook on. Everything worked well, except the spa/hot tub. We didn’t miss it, though, as there were plenty of other things to do. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, the beach AND the bay. Great location.Hosts were very responsive to inquiries. The elevator was useful for this 3-story home.

My family and I came to San Diego for Thanksgiving. I booked this well in advance and the photos they have listed were beautiful. It’s right between Mission Beach and Mission Bay so close to the beach we did lots of bike riding boardwalk there we did whale watching there are lots of things to do here. Bring your bikes. They have ample beach toys. They have ample big beach towels. The beds are beautiful and comfortable. The couches are lovely. The kitchen is huge and open, five bedrooms and six bathrooms could be better. Had to share bathroom when we walked in clean. They had ample utensils serving dishes and they had a washing machine upstairs and a washing machine downstairs. The kids had the best time ever our teenagers had the best time ever because you can walk to Starbucks, which is important to them ha ha It’s right by arcade amusement park. The teens were over there if they weren’t at the beach very communicative very friendly. They spell everything out. There’s never any question with check or check out. I have lots of things listed where things go. We’re definitely staying with them again this was the best , modern three-story house that my family and I have ever

I pray this review makes its rounds. This was a nightmare of an experience. The pictures of the house are outdated, let’s start there. First & foremost, this home is DUST RIDDEN & filthy! If you or anyone in your group has allergies or asthma, BEWARE, it’s a house FULL of TRIGGERS! They do not clean the ceiling fans, light fixtures, change air filters, clean ducts, there is mold on the ceiling in the master bath, the hardware in the bathroom has so much crud & filth. It’s absolutely disgusting. The dust was so bad, my 5 year old woke up in a complete asthmatic state. We had to rush him to the ER. The first thing the ER doc asked was about triggers and if we were exposed to dust or pets. I said, we are literally in a dust ridden home. It was a complete nightmare. The hosts are so rude. They lied about having maintenance come over to fix the disposal that was inoperable upon arrival. The kitchen was termite infested. When I told the host about the dust, his response was to “get a broom and sweep it”. When I told him the disposal was inoperable and making it very inconvenient to wash dishes, he told me to take them to the bathroom or outside to wash them. His attitude and lack of empathy is disgusting. Trust me, they only care about the money, don’t expect them to want to do anything, if you reach out and they lied to VRBO several times about taking action. Horrible experience, horrible, outdated and FILTHY house! If I could post pics, I would upload every single one! FILTH!

Great location, just a few steps from the beach! Plenty of space for the seven of us. Blinds in main living area on 3rd floor were frustrating but not a huge deal. It was nice having all en-suites and each one had plenty of towels. Didn’t use elevator or hot tub but nice that they were there if we chose to use. There are local companies that will set your party up with a fire pit, chairs, tiki torches, and all that you need for s’mores. Would recommend!

Overall the stay was great! A lovely amount of room and good amenities for our large party. Host was responsive when we had questions. The only challenge we had was that on our last night, the fire alarm in the house went off twice in the middle of the night. We had to call the fire department to come check it out and our entire party was awoken and had to leave the building. When I contacted the host they were sympathetic but did not offer a viable solution or compensation to make up for our experience. Overall, lovely home and gray stay. Just needed to get the faulty fire alarm system fixed!!!

The location was perfect to enjoy beach activity, as well as close to shops and restaurants. It also served as a great option to house 5 couples with each having private bathrooms adjacent to the bedrooms. The elevator was also helpful for those who had difficulty climbing stairs. Parking was a bit challenging if you had more than 2 vehicles - would recommend utilizing one or two small to midsize car(s) or SUV(s) for best fit in the garage. A small car or SUV can also be parked directly behind the garage.

This house had it all, from a fully stocked kitchen, to a shed filled with everything you could need at the beach. It’s perfectly located-just a two minute walk to the sand, and less than a five minute walk to Belmont Park. The property is beautiful and well-kept, and is perfectly suited for large families or groups. It’s definitely at the top of our list!

Only major downside was that the AC units are on a timer and shut down making house hot. Only an issue one month out of the year. I also wouldve like the bedroom patio to be functional and expected a TV in each bedroom for the price. Not big deal.
