A hidden Rye Escape! The Woodlands Retreat accommodates up to 9 guests in the heart of Rye a fully enclosed yard with plenty of front yard parking for a couple of cars, boat or jet skis. Return from a day at the beach and enjoy a summer BBQ in a natural bush front yard garden setting or take an afternoon hammock siesta under the trees.
The Kitchen and Living area:
Modern kitchen featuring brand new bosch electric induction stove, bosch dishwasher, stone bench tops, breakfast bar, coffee pod machine, microwave, and big dining table. Stay comfortable all year round with split system heating and cooling in the living areas or the option of an open wood fire place for a cosy winters night.
The Bedrooms:
The three bedrooms comfortably accommodate up to 9 guests. Two bedrooms have a queen size bed and the third bedroom has single bunks and tri bunks sleeping up to 5 guests. The two new family bathrooms each include a shower, basin and toilet and the laundry has both a washing machine and a dryer.

Pros:
A great place near centre of Rye beach. 5mins drive to the beach and restaurants. 10mins to shopping centre.
The property got lot of space. We are 6, but I reckon the house can still accommodate 7-8 people.
Kitchen includes everything a family needs for every meal.
Cons:
Hot water not turned on when we arrived, no instructions how to get the hot water on. I have to look for the switch for the hot water which is in the main power switch box. We have to wait overnight to get the water heated. Not an ideal situation when all of us wanted to take a shower after a day in the beach and it was 16C outside. Living room got too many spiders in the ceiling and wall. No Foxtel despite advertise in website. TV doesn't even have local channel 10. Does not allow early check-in and late check out. No instructions when is rubish collection day. I have to bring out the wheelie bins at the curb to avoid being charge of additional fees.
