The Old Salthouse, a former Pilchard curing cellar in times gone by, is now a ground floor studio apartment benefiting with on-site parking for one car. Located in the iconic Barnaloft complex, which offers residents private access through the linking passage onto the sands of Porthmeor Beach in a matter of footsteps. This is the ideal getaway for couples, solo explorers or friends planning to visit St Ives. Found in the heart of the old fisherman’s quarters in Downalong, you are surrounded by the gorgeous beaches where you can take a dip in the sea or simply dip your toes in the tranquil shores before hitting the town to enjoy a plethora of cuisines.
After a busy day exploring the local shops and galleries throughout St Ives. The open plan layout provides a leather sofa to recharge and relax whilst you catch up with your favourite box set on the Smart TV. The contemporary kitchen with a breakfast bar, has an electric oven and hob, under counter fridge with cool box, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, utensils and cookware – provides everything you need to experiment with local ingredients to create a memorable meal at home.
Rest easy on the double bed located in the main studio space. There is also a wardrobe with hanging rail. The fully tiled ensuite is positioned just off the main studio space providing an enclosed shower, wash hand basin and WC.
