The apartment is even better of the photos. The landscape from there is magical, the place is wonderful (as the island), and very quiet during the night and the day. There is everything you need and everything is written in the profile, everything worked well and we did not had any kind of problem. Alberto the owner is very kind and available. I strongly recommend to DO NOT reach the apartment doing the uphill but from the downhill, it’s much easier and shorter. The gps will give you the uphill street, but if you continue straight you will catch it from the top.

The property is a real gem, in an elevated position with stunning views. The owner, Alberto, is a really welcoming and sincere gentleman (with excellent English) who greeted us with enthusiasm and showed us around the property. Inside, the property was immaculately clean and everything worked properly and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Outside, there is an excellent BBQ, a small lawn and two terraces both with tables/chairs and excellent valley/sea views. There is parking right next to the house. The location of the village, Loreto, is about 5mins on foot and here you will find a small general stores and 5 bars. Another 10mins on foot you will find a splendid supermaket and cafe. I thoroughly recommend Casa Horizonte and Alberto and his family are truly lovely.

Alberto had the most wonderful home! We were so happy with this place. He met us at the top of the road and we followed him down to his cozy home. He had provided some fresh eggs, bread, wine, cheese and cookies made by his wonderful wife for us to enjoy. The rooms were perfect and beds were comfortable. A washer was available for us to even use. We even started a fire one night. He gave us his phone number to call him with any questions. At night we sat outside on the deck and admired the stars and lights down below. In the morning we sat outside on the deck and admired the incredible view of the town and the ocean. We were able to walk (only 5 minutes) to the village where there was a small market and a wonderful, must go to, pizzeria. We recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Madeira. You will truly love it.
