About this house rental
Our lovely home has been fully modernised, and is suitable for a family or group of friends. The house is very spacious, and can comfortably sleep 6, with a sofa bed for an additional 2 if needed. The kitchen and the 2 bathrooms are brand new. The location is elevated on the hillside above the airport, and adults and kids alike will enjoy watching the planes come and go. Although located away from the hussle and bustle, it is less than 10 minutes to Avarua township and 7 minutes to a swim at Black Rock. The deck provides a restful location to relax, read a book, have a beer or cocktail, and enjoy the views and sunsets. For rainy days, the lounge is spacious and equipped with a large flatscreen tv and a wide selection of movies and programs, as well as board games and cards. Wifi is available on a user pays basis.

This home was very spacious. I feel the pictures don't do the house justice. A beautiful view, with grounds, maintained to a high standard. Very comfortable and relaxing with an outdoor dining option. A great getaway from the hustle and bustle of town, the large resorts, that can seem over crowded. A car or scooter would definitely help to get to and from venue, as its off the beaten track.

We loved staying here. The house is comfortable and cool with a wonderful balcony overlooking the sea. It is located close to the airport but is quiet and off the main road in the foothills. The owners are delightful and Gillene has made sure it is well stocked with everything you might need. The beds are very comfortable as well. I cannot fault it!

We were blown away by this rennovated house - they have done a great job and for a family of 5 adults we just loved it. Gillene and Steve were great and helped us out on local matters. I couldnt recommend this place more for people who dont want a resort but an authentic Cook Is experience and setting. Even the chooks and the dogs became part of the furniture. we will be back hopefully.

Such a beautiful home, very roomy too.
Located up in the hills over looking a priceless view. Very open and airy, easy to clean, modern, has all the comforts of home and more. Great owners and service. Will definitely stay here again 10 stars ⭐️
