Welcome to Are'ora. This name means "the house for living", and is the name of our ancestors village on Atiu .
Are’ora is a new (2019) home featuring 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large deck. It is fully furnished with everything required to enjoy your stay. It has ceiling fans, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washing machine. For rainy days, the lounge is spacious and equipped with a large flatscreen tv and a wide selection of movies and programs, as well as board games and cards. Wifi is available on a user pays basis.
Are’ora is located on the western side of Rarotonga, with garden and mountain views. There are many beaches within a 5 – 10 minute drive, and Muri is 20 minutes away. There are many nice resorts, restaurants/bars nearby, while the airport and Avarua township are The beach is a 2 minutes walk, and is perfect for swimming, snorkelling and strolling. Across the road is a bar/restaurant where you can enjoy the most amazing sunsets accompanied by a cold beer or a lovely cocktail.
For families, there is plenty of room outside for the kids to run around and play.

What a great place, great location and great host(s). This house was absolutely perfect for our family getaway and easy to find. There was 6 of us in total, including a 7 year old. A very comfortable stay (including the beds) and a very modern setup, plus only a 3kms to where some family members live. So many reasons to stay at this house. Everything is provided, including some delicious bananas, paw paws and tomatoes - so tasty! We ate in a couple of nights, so having the BBQ was handy, as was the hard drive with movies (and not just to entertain the child) and the Vodafone hot spot. Two Vodafone hot spot purchases saw us through 10 days (each 19GB / 5 days). One purchased at the Vodafone store in town and the second at a grocery store just a short walk clockwise from the house. Would definitely stay here again. Wayne was very responsive to questions leading up to our stay. Part the way through our stay clean linen was dropped off just in case we wanted to change our sheets and towels - even though a washing machine is in the house. The beautiful dogs next door enjoyed greeting us each time we returned home. BTW, their new names are Buttercup and Daniella - originally Daniel until the sex was made known :-)

An absolutely stunning property that was well equiped, positioned and beautifully decorated. Stunning grounds with a Hamptons feel and great indoor-outdoor flow. Close to beach and great restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend 👌 😀

Loved the position and space in this house. Well equipped kitchen perfect for creating large meals for the family great living spaces. Helpful and friendly locals. Only downside is a Rarotongan problem - bring your earplugs if you’re a light sleeper the roosters are very vocal
