About this house rental
A one bedroom home, Teiao Beachfront is ideal for a couple or a family with kids, the master bedroom has a queen and a single, and in the lounge another queen and single. There's a big kitchen and lounge, with a massive covered veranda looking out to the lagoon. The back yard is ideal for kids to run around in.
Next door to the home is the Aroa Beachside Inn that has great daily sunset BBQs at their shipwreck hut (voted one of the top pacific beachfront bars on trip advisor). And in the other direction, snorkel kayak and internet hire is a stroll away. The Rarotongan Resort is also close by (less than 15minutes walk along the beach).
But the real attraction of Teiao is the beach, white sands and excellent snorkling

We always love staying here. It has an amazing location right on the beach and next door to shipwreck where you can enjoy meals instead of cooking and their live music and cultural show on monday night. Communication is excellent and a starter kit is provided on arrival with the essentials. There are kayaks and an outdoor shower and lots of outdoor furniture and a bbq. The only downside is the beds and fly screens need to be replaced and although there are 2 ceiling fans it can still get very hot so there needs to be more fans available. It would be even better if this was a two bedroom.

We will be back! Beachfront, amazing snorkelling, bigger than the photos show. Such a great find
Notes: it took a few days to get enough bath towels for us but our teens weren't bothered and it is right next door to the Shipwreck bar who have live music often. Most nights it's was finished by 9ish but one night it was closer to 11pm. Only an issue for the bedroom really but worth noting if you have little ones

We LOVED the location of this beach house. It is right on the beach! With its very own palm trees :) We felt like the beach was our backyard. It is very swimmable with not too much or too little coral. It was easy to swim and explore the coral with its dozens of different fish, a resident octopus, and a turtle! The kids spent hours in the water.
Two nice surprises were; discovering the reef in the distance is where the waves crash, so there were no crashing waves on the beach which created a lovely calm ‘lagoon’ for swimming; and the side of the island the house is on was the non-windy side (the lee side) while we were there (not that the wind is too much of a problem).
We met lovely staff and travellers at the Shipwreck next door, enjoying their pina coladas and ika mata.
The house itself is great, it had everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed being able to make our own meals when desired.
The kids loved following the hens and their chicks around. They also discovered a few hermit crabs on the properry, and the friendly dogs reminded us of our one back home!

Place was amazing, best possible location right on the beach - beautiful view from the backyard. The house was well kept and tidy, the owners and property manager were super helpful and accommodating. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a place to stay in a group (4-5 people).
