Open and Bright, Beautifully Decorated One Level Vacation Rental Home - Only 4 Minutes to Main Street Highlands NC!
Mount Lori Hillside Retreat is a one-level, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home just minutes from 5 star restaurants and shopping. Featuring hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and beautiful furnishing, this home has a split floor plan with a spacious open greatroom that offers vaulted ceilings and a stacked stone fireplace. Further into the home you'll find a fully-stocked eat-in kitchen with a coffee/wine bar, walk-in pantry and updated appliances sitting right next to the screened in porch. The porch itself is a perfect place to enjoy the cool mountain air while swinging on the suspended daybed or relaxing next to the gas log fireplace.
The master bedroom includes a King and a private bath with a soaking tub, walk-in tiled shower and double vanities.
The second guest bedroom includes a Queen bed and shares the jack-and-jill style 2nd bath with the third guest bedroom. The third guest bedroom is set up with 2 Twin beds but can be made into a king bed if preferred.
Includes Wifi and smart TV.
A wonderful relaxing spot awaits you on the screened porch where you can enjoy the crackling fire in the cool evenings.

[All of the homes managed by Highlands Vacation Rentals have wifi internet access(speeds may vary based on different providers), basic kitchenware & dishes, linens provided, and a starter set of amenities including: 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom + A set of personal shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap (also per bathroom), 2 paper towel rolls, a few kitchen trash bags, a kitchen sponge, some dish soap and a couple of dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. ]
CANCELLATION POLICY: Our cancellation policy (effective for bookings confirmed after April 1, 2024) is outlined below:
For reservations that are 21 days or less, A reservation cancelled ( by email receipt ) between 0 - 45 days prior to arrival is not eligible for a refund. If reservation is cancelled more than 45 days prior to arrival, guest shall receive a refund of all payments made* less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost of the reservation AND the cost of any trip insurance if purchased.
*Refunds do not include third-party service fees as those are determined by the booking site and we do not control how those funds are processed.
For any reservations that are more than 21 days, No refund will be given unless the property is re-rented over the previously booked dates.

House was great, clean and very well equipped. The gas fireplaces made for a cozy atmosphere. Very easy to contact the very responsive property management team with questions. While the driveway was steep, being able to park in the garage to unload and then load-up for departure was a real plus. Would definitely stay there again when visiting the Highlands..

Traveled here over March break 2021 and just had the most wonderful stay. The house itself is lovely and well laid out. Everything was thought of down to coffee & granola bars and info on nearby spots. The neighborhood is quiet but so convenient for getting into town. We met the loveliest neighbors too who showed me a running route into a nearby golf course that was just so nice! Would stay here again (and very much hope to) in a heartbeat!!

Lovely house, great open plan for enjoying being together.. close to town in a very quiet neighborhood. Upscale appliances and easy gas logs fireplaces in living area and on porch. If you plan on cooking and dinning need napkins, place mats etc. otherwise well equipped but short on wine glasses.
