Are you looking to escape for rest and relaxation or would you prefer a multitude of outdoor activities, great restaurants and shopping? The Hermitage at Highlands is the perfect place for you! Nestled in the peaceful Mirror Lake community of Highlands, NC, this 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house boasts an exceptional mountain view you can enjoy from both the living area and fabulous screened in back porch. Enjoy your morning coffee as you watch the sun rise over the mountains or an evening meal at the porch table once it is fresh off the large gas grill. You can also utilize the fully furnished kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops while watching the fire dance in the gas fireplace. The house sleeps 8 with high quality linens and there is a cozy en suite bathroom for the master bedroom.
To know before booking:
* The AC units are portable, to use if necessary where you need it. There are three units.
** Please honor the No pets are allowed. Anyone found with a pet the entire party is subject to an immediate eviction without a refund.
* 2 of the bedrooms have TV wired for cable. The living room has cable and is a smart TV.
** Firewood delivery $85 before taxes
** This property has a non-refundable 5% Credit Card fee regardless of cancellation policy

This is a beautiful and comfortable home. It couldn't have been better. Communication was great. We loved the location, close to town, yet nestled in the mountains. On the way back to the VRBO one day, we got to watch a momma black bear and her 3 cubs for about 10 minutes(from the car). Thank you for our wonderful accommodation.

The Hermitage exceeeded our expectations in oh so many ways!A quiet and serene setting with ever changing vistas from the back porch it was the perfect home to relax and recharge. We hated to leave and look forward to returning.
