About this house rental
Families, groups of friends, come and meet at "La Grange de Faucon" for a relaxing and enriching holiday.....
Located 6 kms from Vaison-la-Romaine, at the foot of the medieval village of Faucon, in the heart of rural life, the house, of 130m2 of living space, in local stones, has been completely renovated.
From its shaded terrace of 60 m2, (garden furniture, barbecue...), its enclosed garden of 250 m2, and through its windows, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the village, the hills of the Baronnies, and the Mont Ventoux, (20 kms)
The living room, of 50 m2, with integrated American kitchen (recently installed) can bring together a whole family, or a group of friends. Upstairs, 3 bedrooms can accommodate 2 to 8 people. As for the sanitary facilities, WC on the first floor, and upstairs. Walk-in shower on the first floor and bathtub upstairs.
Pets are welcome.
The house is very pleasant all year round. The exterior walls, in stone, have been doubled, so that the temperature inside the house is moderate, reinforced by the heating (reversible heat pump) in winter, and reduced in summer by the presence of fans in each room, and air conditioning, very recently installed. (For ecological reasons, we did not want to build a swimming pool.)
In winter, the village of Faucon benefits from a sunny microclimate. You can therefore walk and rest in the sun throughout the seasons.
The house is equipped for eight people. But you can live very pleasantly for two, in peace and light: the living room is illuminated by 6 windows, facing east, south and west. The bedrooms open to the east.
High-performance Wi-Fi. Fiber is installed. Television, CD player and radio.
Bicycle reception: on request, a locked bicycle garage is at your disposal free of charge: 4 electrical outlets for battery recharging, repair kit.
House classified three stars by the Gîtes de France.

A beautiful home in a pretty village with surprisingly good restaurants, a nice bakery. We enjoyed the area, especially the gorges, the mountain, and the neighbouring towns. The host Mireille was very nice. No integral air conditioning.
